Lost Girl Recap S4E5: Let the Dark Times Roll

After years of being unaligned, Bo has finally chosen, or atleast her blood has. The Unamense is satisfied, but Bo is not so happy. The Unamense is still planning on going after the doctor and Kenzi though, they plan to kill the pair of them. Bo tries to chi suck the Unamense, but it gets pulled right out of them. They tell her to pay fealty to the leader of the dark or die.

Kenzi waits in line taking a number, while Bo gets juiced in the bathroom. Recharged, Bo thinks that the wanderer is responsible for the sudden alignment, and somehow Vex is involved too. Kenzi is sad, they were such good “mascara buddies,” but he did send Cleo after her. Dyson is still looking for Lauren, and  Kenzi ponders updating with a new dark look, when Bo gets her number called, number 69.

Bo storms the castle, and it’s the Morrigan, not Vex like she was expecting. Where is our favorite Mesmer? Both girls thought she was dead, but she plans on having it annulled once she catches Vex. The Morrigan tells her that she can get it reversed if she shows proof of her hoodwinking by the next fullmoon after her alignment, which happens to be tonight. Not much time to get things done. The Morrigan likes Kenzi’s sass, its right up the dark’s alley. She tells Bo she can dress as she wishes as long as it includes a smile.

Trick is still looking for information on the Wanderer. He has some sort of evil snake seed in a box. Surely one of his many oddities, he locks it tight in his safe. One of the Unamense summons him for a meeting, and they want to talk about life.

The Morrigan certainly throws a swanky party. They give away trees for swag, and Kenzi scores some really good drinks. The Morrigan shows her the buffet, but Bo sends the humans away. The dark may be slightly evil, but they’re honest about what they are. The Morrigan continues to be her normal bitchy self. Bo isn’t calling the aligning home, and she just wants Vex. But the Morrigan is mad about the Unamense, they’re cramping her style and she wants them gone, and she too needs to find Vex. Bo doesn’t want to play, but the Morrigan is compelling, and wants to prove shes on her side, she shows Bo Lauren, but something isn’t right as she walks the down hill all flowy and bright.

Trick meets with the Unamense . They ask him how he came to be here.

Lauren and Bo immediately get down to the nitty gritty. So is this going to be like round 23 of spybanging for Lauren?

The Unamense is a little curious of his opening a bar, it becoming a sanctuary. The Unamense came into existence after the war. They claim that the blood king’s corruption sparked this war, and once formed he betrayed them. He was to bind his soul with theirs through special seeds so that what they deemed law would become so by the power of his blood. But he stole his seed and disappeared, if they were to find him they would still welcome him into their little collective soul. Trick doesn’t sound so onboard with that whole unchallenged rule thing.

Kenzi and Tamsin load up on food at the party. Kenzi goes to grab some food, and friend Bruce is a living sushi table. He tells her that this is his punishment. Kenzi steals a tablecloth off a nearby table to cover him up, and finds a dead bride and groom. Kenzi is out.

Bo and Lauren continue their smooching. Wait did we already forget the whole I don’t really know who she is thing? Yes, okay just making sure. Lauren has to leave, and she wonders why Bo’s there. Bo confesses that she was turned dark. Lauren has been with the Morrigan hiding out from the Unamense. She should leave, but she needs another kiss. The Morrigan comes with an offer, she will give her what she needs to run down Vex, but she requires her blood oath that she’ll deliver. The Morrigan will give her a drug to incapacitate vex, and a scavenger to help out.

The Scavenger, Pietra is a little too excited to catch Vex, but she needs to grab something first. With the Unamense binding everyone to the territory Vex needs a special knife to release himself, one that she just plunged into a bride a few times out of site of Bo. This one is crazy, but helpful. Vex thinks that she’s stealing it to help him in exchange for taking her with him, but she’s more than happy to betray him. Bo can’t wait on Vex’s timetable, but he was last seen near Dyson’s new digs. Dyson is absent though, since he’s still out looking for Lauren. Bo plans to take Pietra on the town and stir up a little trouble to draw out the Mesmer. Pietra is all game.

Bruce’s punishment for helping Kenzi was to become the sushi bar and worse, the only alternative is to get another fae to master him. Any fae will do, they become responsible for him until his punishment is complete, and Kenzi whispers her plan to Tamsin. Tamsin is about to get a human. She announces at the DJ booth that she plans to master Bruce from Ty. The Morrigan pits Tamsin against Ty, and she looks formidable. Maybe Kenzi should have thought this through.

Pietra  walks around the alley waiting for Vex, and Bo thinks this is a good talk time as Lauren loads a needle full of nectar of violet. Bo wants to know about their break, Tasmin, the whole Karen thing. A controlled lady comes for the knife, clearly being mesmered. Pietra gets kicked and the lady gets away. Bo goes after her, and straight to Vex. He’s sneering, and neither are exactly happy to hear from each other. He claims to not be working with the Wanderer. He uses the lady against her, and her distraction allows Vex to knock Bo out with her own syringe. Bo awakens in Dyson’s room while Vex brews his little cure knife. He plans to use her as leverage so he can get away. Bo cannot even use her suck powers against him. She’s still mad about joining the dark, and he cannot wait to get away.

Kenzi gives Tamsin a peptalk, but she’s still not sure. Kenzi looks worried, but the Morrigan’s coin flip gives Tamsin the option for her duel. She choses a dance off, and the Morrigan names it to the death.

Vex prepares to cut off his hand. And Bo goes on and on about her and Lauren back together and bliss. I’m with Vex, I’m ready to off myself with all her talk. Vex stuffs a sock in her. He’s the last of his kind, and the rest of them were hunted through the years. Their hands were cut off, and they were utterly humiliated. He watched it happen to his entire family, his father, brother and mother. He refuses to let it happen to him as well, and its motivated him to become what he is today.

Tamsin warms up and gets to he best dance moves, and Kenzi helps her out with a little coaching, but it’s a hot mess. Ty gets a little pushy, but definitely has some moves. She break dances across the floor and the crowd loves it. Kenzi tells her now is the time to use her power, but she slowly summons it forward, as Ty makes a leap, she breaks her neck to the Morrigan’s delight. Tamsin has her servant.

Vex downs his gross portion, and Bo slowly gets feeling back. She spits out the sock before he can cut off his hand. She tells him that he wanted them to find him, they’re the only family he has left, but Vex cuts his hand away anyways. Vex goes to make a getaway, but Bo doesn’t let him get away, she still needs answers. Vex knows nothing about her pledging the darkside, but the Morrigan’s archivist would know. Bobo got played. He tries to talk her out of turning him over, since the Morrigan plans to just torture him.

Bo heads over to the Morrigan with Vex’s hand on ice. She found the brother she never wanted, and kinda hates but still has no answers. The Morrigan doesn’t want just a piece of Vex she wants it all. She tells her that the dark don’t hold grudges, she just wants to get rid of the Unamense, and Bo’s more than welcome to claim him as her responsibility. Bo accepts, but she wants the archivist. The Morrigan calls him forward and he rips off a piece of his skin and gives it to Bo. It should show her what she needs to know. Bo sees her signature and her sponsor’s: Rayner. Bo has no knowledge, and the Morrigan refuses to overturn it. Bo needs her mystery sponsor to help her overturn it. Bo takes her Mesmer piece back, but the Morrigan lets it go, she has a new play toy: Lauren.

Trick delivers what was asked of the him from the Unamense. They ask if there is anything else he wishes to add. Trick only hopes that they retained some of the soul they once had. Trick of course knows their original names, and apparently that too is a crime. He also knows that she turned in her family for petty crimes when she became one of the six, more blasphemy. He turned in his own daughter to satisfy the rules he created, and what he created was cruelty. They see it as order. They tell him with his history, standing and knowledge he is the only choice for Ash. That was not expected. Trick puts away his hidden blade.

Bo hates the Morrigan all the more now, there’s no way to turn undark. Bo wants to go home soak in a bath, and figure out how to go back light. But Lauren can’t go back with the light, they abandoned her when the Unamense came, only the dark searched for her and offered her protection. She’s not angry with Bo for not coming, but Lauren is free to come and go with the dark. Bo wants to fight for Lauren, to claim her if she has to. Lauren sees it as another leash. Here she chooses her own cage. Bo tells her when she’s ready to come back to her real family to say the word, but walking away hurts.

Now that Bruce is free, Kenzi wonders why he doesn’t go some place he’s always wanted. He’s been the Morrigan’s man for a long time, and he doesn’t know how to be free though, but he has a chance to be.

Trick never thought she’d ever show up with a one handed Mesmer as a dark fae. Although Trick wants to help, things have just gotten a little complicated with him being named the acting Ash. The search for Rayner begins.

In Trick’s safe the seed has been stolen.

The Unamense receive the succubus’s declaration, she finds Rayner, and isn’t very happy about it. Just how bad is this guy? And since Bo is now dark can we get a visit from a certain hot dark fae Loki?

Lost Girl Recap S4E1: In Memoriam

Tonight is the new season of Lost Girl finally. Lucky ducks up in Canada got this gem back in November, but for us US folks, tonight starts off our season, so let’s dig in! A truck drives in a Kenzi sneaks out. She’s spying on some robed characters plotting a Indiana Jones mission, but she’s caught. He plans to take the claimed “human” in, but Dyson and Hale tell him he’s mistaken, and Kenzi shows off some fireworks. He buys her theatrics and Hale takes her away without ever seeing what’s in the box. Hale cautions Kenzi against using her temporary powers. Dyson takes home “tinkerbell” and Hale gets stuck with the paperwork. Dyson sniffs around Kenzi’s home, but she assures her that she’s alone. And then he kisses her, one very hot wolfy kiss, but he pulls away because of Hale. A knock on the door breaks up the mood even more, and its Aoife. She uses her power of persuasion to gain entry, she needs help finding Bo, but no one seems to know her.

Aoife is looking for the daughter that she lost. No one knows Bobo, she played no part in defeating Aoife when she went all supervillain and killed the Ash. But Aoife knows Dyson, they met recently in the lab. Kenzi doesn’t exactly believe Aoife’s story, but Aoife knows in her heart that she had a daughter even though there’s no proof. Dyson find the photo of Bo beautiful, and Kenzi is ruffled about it. She turns down to gig, but Aoife shows them proof that her memories have been tampered with. She just wants to know why the memories have been wiped and at the word pay, Kenzi finds herself on board. Dyson heads off to meet with Tamsin, because he needs info and she saved him. Aoife uses her powers to get out of their tab, and Kenzi is more intrigued.

Dyson heads to the spot of his accident, seeing pieces of it, but unable to remember the whole thing.

Kenzi goes to see Trick. Trick thinks someone has been messing with the balance space and time, oh Trick if you only knew! Trick shows her a seed, it’s a symbol of the unamense, they’re descending upon them since its been messy lately. Kenzi asks if they would cause amnesia, but he tells her no and sends her to an orthanex, Dr. Snook, a fish fey that feeds on memories. Kenzi asks about Lauren, but Trick tells her that she abandoned the light fae. Kenzi doesn’t believe it. Someone is firmly in Dr. Hotpants’s corner, believing she’s the only human ally she has even if she is barely human. People are searching for Lauren at least. Trick tells her to be careful, clueless of the wanderer card he smashes between crates.

Kenzi and Dyson go to see Dr. Snook, but his receptionist isn’t welcoming. Kenzi strong arms their way past Janet during a client session, where the Dr. is making a wife forget her husband’s infidelity. When they go to question him, he tells Kenzi that he doesn’t restore memories only takes them, but admires the extraction that was performed on her. She has no clue what he’s talking about, and Dyson looks to see that she has the same little weird mark on her eye that Aoife had. Of course, Dyson has the same make, but its not Snook’s work. Kenzi tries to sort through the disturbing revelation.

Trick tells her that to shatter the spell she’ll need the recardo compass. It’s been lost under the season, but rumor has it that Anglerum has it. Kenzi gets Dyson to score some tickets to the shindig so she can get close to Anglerum, and Trick makes her cough up her pilfered wares. Kenzi has quite the sticky fingers. When she pulls out the photo of Bo, Trick’s blood reacts a little crazily to it. Trick asks for all the deets about her client.

Vex berates the Morrigan’s former assistant, over his unflattering wardrobe. This party is the last chance to have some fun before the counsel arrives. Dyson arrives and stops Vex from ironing out the assistant. Dyson and Vex have a little pissing contest, and Vex ultimately calls it a draw. Seems the Morrigan named Vex her heir, which surprised him a bit. Dyson blackmails Vex into getting him tickets to the party, looks like Evany’s demise was highly exaggerated and  Dyson has sniffed her out. Vex calls down and gets Dyson him the ticket that he’s asked for. Dyson makes no promises to let him keep his throne once he remembers, and Vex takes out his frustration on the assistant.

Dyson and Hale stroll through the collector’s party, both guys wishing their lady will get there, but Kenzi is having trouble figuring out what to wear. She calls Lauren, for advice, and hoping that she’s safe. Mosimo comes at arrowpoint. He’s brought Kenzi some sprite extract, and takes a hands on approach to Kenzi’s disgust for application. She owes big for what he’s turned her into, which isn’t quite fae like she wanted. But like a junky, she’s feigning for more, and makes promises to pay his high price.

Hale keeps a look out for Kenzi, and Dyson spots prey. Hale makes a remark about Dyson’s type, unbeknownst to either that the hottie in the dress is actually Kenzi until she turns around. Kenzi is late, and the Collector is already narrowing down favorites. Dyson wonders if Kenzi is out of her league, and she goes to prove herself. Methinks Dyson just doesn’t want to share. Mia Kirshner (love her I don’t care who she is playing) asks Dyson and Bo finally makes an appearance. He gets a severe case of déjà vu and loses her as Cleo introduces herself, and she fawns over Dyson, she’s a nymph. He may not be interested but I am. He’s had some bad tequila soaked nymph experiences. Kenzi and Hale take the floor and all eyes are on them. It’s awkward between them on the dancefloor, and the alpha wolf takes over to make the tango steamy. The two cut quite the rug, and Hale throws his hat in, taking back his partner, but Kenzi and Dyson just sizzle. It becomes a saucy threeway tango, and if the Collector isn’t intrigued now, he’s blind. Kenzi ends the dance with some fireworks and gets her rose.

Kenzi goes to meet the Collector, and its George Takei!. He’s a giant snake guy, no wonder he does the whole private audiences only.

Vex makes a flashy entrance, he wants the wolf. Cleo offers to get Dyson out for a price but he’s willing to go up against the Morrigan/Mesmer. She asks if he knows how to repel, as Vex starts snapping necks. Cleo and the rest of the party people decide to make a break for the doors.

The Collector goes to look inside to grant her unlimited wish. She asks for the compass, and he scoffs at her request. He gives her some beauty tips getting a bit catty in his delivery. He makes note that he thought she’d wish for “her return.” He snaps his fingers and gives her the compass, telling her that she doesn’t know what she’s missing. She notices that he called her human, and the Collector now that he’s granted her wish devour her whole.

Dyson and Vex prepare to faceoff. Vex’s memory is gone as well, which confuses Dyson more. Vex knows he was never meant to be the Morrigan, and he doesn’t want anyone regaining their memories in case it makes them challenge his position. He refuses to be powerless. Hale strides in, and Vex Mesmers him into silence and to grab Dyson. Dyson frees Hale’s mouth so he can siren Vex, and Dyson runs to save Kenzi as Hale takes on Vex. Vex is no match for Hale.

Kenzi runs through the Collector’s collection hiding, but her powers are of no help. And she’s all out of Sprite juice. Hale plans to put an end to Vex over Kenzi. Kenzi is out of places to run when Dyson comes to the rescue. He spears the snake tail and gets away with the girl.

Trick catches up with Aoife. She’s happy to see her father.
The compass has cracked during the cat and mouse game, but the memory loss stays in place. Kenzi goes to align the needle to North, and Dyson stops her. He tells her he would give his life for him. Wondering if its as good as it gets, if they can make it better. But Kenzi knows that something is missing, that something isn’t right. She tells him that her heart hurts, and that when you’re in love you know. He agrees with her, that whatever happens they’re in it together. He sets the compass to North, and the memories return, and neither of them are okay as they remember Bo. Aoife and Trick remember too, and their happy reunion is cut short, as Aoife’s crazy takes over and she goes to spill Trick’s blood.

Kenzi and Dyson find Hale and Vex. Hale didn’t kill Vex, and he’s very happy that Kenzi didn’t get eaten by the snake. They all agree they have to find Bo, but they need to figure out who did the mind erase first. Dyson gets a call from Tamsin, and as the last person to see Bo alive, Dyson runs. Hale wants to talk, but with Bo missing Kenzi can’t. She runs off.

The box from the beginning opens and something oozes out.

Lauren is working in a diner as Amber when she remembers.

Bo awakens.

Lost Girl Recap S2E6: It’s Better to Burn Out Than Fae Away

Kenzi plays third wheel to Dr. Lauren and Bo reliving old Prom memories. She excuses herself, but the girls don’t even notice.

A little graffiti is unappreciated by some elderly scorpion fae, but the painter isn’t scared by the stinger, and trumps him with his shotgun. Big bloody splatter looks to be just the final touch missing from the wall depicting Vex killing someone. Yay it’s a Vex episode!

Lauren and Bo hang out on the couch, getting a little cozy. Kenzi puts the kibosh on it, not because they’re not strictly platonic, but rather because she’s a fugitive from the Ash.

The Morrigan plots out her wardrobe, when Vex interrupts. He’s in a bit of a pickle since her human painted a picture of him killing a vampire, which was done on her orders. Scorpion man was not only a friend, but he’s been around for a very long time, but Vex isn’t calming down. Morrigan delivers a hardly veiled threat, and tells him that she’ll find the leak, and if her artist Jason is behind it, she’ll take care of him. Once Vex leaves she loses her cool, and Bianca is forced to clean up the mess. Bianca casts doubt upon Vex, and the Morrigan has another mission for her.

Kenzi does movie night with the girls when Bianca comes a calling. The Morrigan is busy signing contracts, and Bianca uses her powers to make contract negotiations go smoothly as Bo watches on. The artist signs, and Bianca is still not on the Morrigan’s good side. Apparently although irreplaceable The Morrigan feels the need to bust, Bianca, the Ciñata’s, chops from time to time. The Morrigan decides to use the segway to lure Bo to the darkside, but that’s not why she was called. She sends Bo to retrieve Jason. The Morrigan doesn’t want him killed, because she loves him, but she does need him found since he did kill a Fae elder.

Trick would prefer Bo not take the job, but since she will anyways he tells her that the Morrigan is a leanan sídhe, an evil muse. She will eventually drive the object mad. Trick warns her that Jason may be suffering a complete breakdown. Kenzi and Bo go to check out the site of his artwork, although its been covered up, nearby ones haven’t, and of course our favorite semi-criminal Kenzi recognizes some of the artwork. She takes her to one of the artists, while Vex follows them.

One of the artists turns out to be a former flame of Kenzi’s, or rather wannabe flame. Bo gets down to business, but tells them that Jason made it to the big, and hasn’t seen him lately. Started acting crazy, but he never touched drugs or drank. The girls get their info, and leave him hanging.

The girls make their way back to the bar, and they try to figure out why he’s painting the Morrigan’s secrets everywhere. Their lead calls in, he tried to say hello, but Jason answered with a shotgun blow to the face. He gives Bo, Jason’s last known destination.

The girls head over to the alley, but so far they haven’t found anything. All Bo wants is to cuddle with Lauren, venting her frustration over everyone having a happy lovelife except her.  They stumble across Jason, who is totally shot happy. He manages to get away from them, and they manage not to get shot, but Vex is there, and Mesmer powers are truly awesome. Before he can make Jason shoot himself Bo stops him. Jason gets away thanks to Bo, and Vex prepares to make Bo pay, but Kenzi has other thoughts, to take out Vex’s boys. Smartly Vex lets her go. Vex decides to play nice, and Bo takes a picture of Jason’s latest work, one of the Morrigan.

Vex and the girls lay their cards on the table, the girls were hire, Vex wants to do a little interrogation. Vex knows that if Jason is delivered Vex will never get his justice. He thinks that the Morrigan is setting him up. Vex tries to bribe the girls, but they’re leery of him, even when he promises that Jason will not be harmed. Kenzi is willing to take the deal. Bo and Kenzi try to interpret the latest artwork, and Bo is off for a little chat with the muse.

Back at home Kenzi sits down with Lauren, a little upset about the whole spybang in the past. Kenzi threatens Lauren, cautioning her against hurting Bo. Lauren turns the tables on Kenzi, claiming that Kenzi is being territorial, and that by trying to drive her away she’s not being a good friend. See this is the problem I’ve always had with the good doctor. She is always the victim. She totally betrayed Bo, but because she was being forced to, it’s okay. Only she wasn’t really forced to, she chose to take it to the level that she did, even if she knew it was wrong. She used Bo for her own agenda, and everyone who isn’t team hot pants is wrong and attempting to vilify her. Boo Dr. Lauren, Kenzi is just being a good friend.  Lauren tells her how selfish she is, and the Ash comes a knocking. Kenzi covers for her, and even as the Ash threatens her and has her choked, she doesn’t give her up. Lauren comes out, and issues her own threats. He gives Lauren 24 hours to come home or her pulls the plug on her research project. They understand each other, and the Ash releases Kenzi. Lauren tries to apologize for bringing her problems into her home, but Kenzi is more worried about Lauren going back to the Ash, cause you know horrible selfish people think about others.

Kenzi calls Bo, and fills her in on the Dr’s predicament, and impending departure. Bo quits the Morrigan’s job. She tells him about Vex’s offer, and the Morrigan accepts her resignation. She also ups the ante, offering the key to fixing Lauren’s little problem with the Ash. Of course that keeps Bo on the job, and she and Bianca commiserate, though me thinks Bianca is a bad seed.

Bo returns home with her good news, but Lauren is ready to go back to the Ash. Bo tells Lauren of the Morrigan’s offer, but she didn’t give specifics, and that relieves Lauren. Just what is she hiding now? Lauren plans to make their last night memorable.

Bo has a little too much bounce in her step, and Kenzi has a hangover. Bo thanks Kenzi for her heroics,  and they prepare to meet Hale. Kenzi gets a little case Déjà vu. At Trick’s Kenzi drowns her hangover in syrup until Hale Siren whistles her hangover away. Bo pumps Hale for info, and he gives them a lead.  He leaves the girls to do the questioning, cause it can get a little messy.  They see the “eye,” and he finds Jason sets off to find Jason for them. The “Eye” wants payment for his work in the form of a kiss from Kenzi. Bo tells her to nut up, and she bestows a kiss upon him. Poor Kenzi, she always gets the worse thing on her mouth.

The girls set out to find Jason, but he finds them first. They tell him that Evany sent him, but he’s not ready to go to her until he’s finished his work. Ooooh Bianca is definitely behind this. He loses it, and falls to the ground in convulsions. Bo returns to the Morrigan with Jason, and he’s happy to see her. She sends him off like a pet, and goes to give Bo her payment. Bo appeals to her good nature, to let him go, but the Morrigan was never in love with Jason, she just needed to know how Vex put him up to betraying her. She give Bo what she needs to save Nadia, which is what she needs to save Lauren. Nadia is Lauren’s girlfriend. Someone just got spybanged, again!

Bo returns home, she’s a little pissed, and Vex gets the brunt of her anger. She vows to never work for the dark fae again, but Dr. Lauren is gone. Kenzi shows her what the paintings mean, they’re all connected. The Morrigan wouldn’t let someone let something like that slip, so who would. Not Vex, but they need him out of the way, hello Bianca. Bread crumbs, the girls continue to put the bread crumbs together, and finally lightbulb.

Bianca looks for other means to get rid of Vex, using her power to take him down, though a human. She give her a weapon to take him down, and Vex invites the dominatrix into his home. He’s ready to play, but he’s about to get much more than he bargained for. He lets her restrain him and beat him with a riding crop, which he enjoys, but the danger, not so much. Restrained his powers are useless, and luckily Bo and Kenzi come to the rescue. Kenzi gets Vex unlocked, and turns the knife on the dominatrix.

Vex pays the Morrigan a visit, but it wasn’t the Morrigan who is under fire, but Bianca. Bianca wanted to take the Morrigan down for everything she took from everyone including her, but she turns the knife on herself so that the Morrigan cannot use her powers anymore. Vex and the Morrigan kiss and make up, and the Morrigan calls in a clean up crew.

Bo and Kenzi had a long bad day, but at least they saved Jason, whether he thanks them or not is yet to be seen. They plan to rehab him against his will. Alone, Bo reveals to Kenzi Lauren’s latest lie. Kenzi tells her to give her the benefit of the doubt.

Lauren checks in on Nadia in a pod. She tells her about Bo, leaving out the whole I just shagged her part, but  fairly gushes over her anyways, because that’s what every comatose girlfriend wants to hear right?

Lost Girl Recap S1E8: Vexed

A yummy and sweaty Dyson gives a bag a major beating, while a bloody Bo finds her way to his doorstep. He tries to turn her away, but her begging brings out his animal, and there's nothing like a little sexual healing. Dyson is reluctant to ask the circumstances that brought Bo to his doorstep. Poor guy wears his heart on his sleeve, but Bo is so blind to it. She tailed a client, who turned out to not be a alone as she thought and the sexy succubus earned herself a beat down for her efforts. Dyson tries to get be there for her, and she throws Lauren in his face. It’s a sore spot for the two of them. Bo doesn’t want to see what’s in front of her face where Lauren is concerned, and Dyson tells Bo this is the last time he’ll heal her. He claims it's for her good, but it’s for his too.

Bo tries to harp on Dyson to Kenzi, but Kenzi isn’t on her side on this issue, someone still has their Team Dyson shirt in the back of her closet. They break into an old theater for a meeting, and find their guy already dead, hanging from a noose. Or, not as dead as they thought it turns out. Siegfried is a vampire from the looks of things, and from the bag of blood Bo brought. He claims to have information of her mother, and he dangles the carrot in front of her in the form of an article that’ll lead Bo to her mother. she has to act fast though, the article is about a baby killer, Luanne, who’s set to be executed in three days.

Bo visits Dr. Lauren for a physical, and she plays it cutesy. Lauren tries to pump Bo for information, and Bo tries to imply she’d like Lauren to be her first human. Dyson comes up in the conversation, and Bo admits that he had been healing her, and Lauren implies that Dyson has been around a few blocks. Such a cheap and petty shot for her to deliver. Run away Bo, she's nothing but trouble.

Kenzi and Bo go to visit Luanne, and they get through security with little issue. Bo immediately recognizes that the woman is fae. She claims to know nothing about Bo’s mother, and when Bo mentions Siegfried’s name the woman pauses just long enough that it raises red flags for Bo.

Siegfried has a little bit of company, from someone much stronger than he is, and he grinds up his own hand in the garbage disposal. Dyson takes a gander, and Bo crosses the police lines.  Bo tells Dyson about her meeting with Luanne, and he already knew she was dark fae. She tells him if he’ll get her Luanne’s file and she finds nothing she’ll drop the issue. He tells her she just used up her last favor, and with that the Dyson well is all dried up. A shame, they have good chemistry, but we know it won't be dried up forever. The Dyson well is a little tempermental but it always delivers when she needs it to, its just a matter of how long are these two going to be separated.

Luanne’s file yields nothing helpful at first glance. She drowned her step kids, then set the house on fire.

Siegfried’s heart was cut out while he was still alive, which brings on the question of what type of Fae could get close enough to the vampire without restraining or drugging him.

She goes back to see Luanne, proclaiming she knows of her innocence. Someone was playing puppet master, and Bo plans to find out who. She tries to get Luanne’s story. Luanne fell in love with a human, she tried to cut her ties with the fae world to protect them, but it all backfired. Bo offers to meet with the Ash on her behalf.

Lauren set up the meeting, but there’s much she hasn’t told the Ash about her work with Bo. Bo goes to the Ash on Luanne’s behalf. The Ash doesn’t plan on stepping in on Luanne’s behalf, because Mr. Deepthroat is a pretentious prick and he sucks. If he has a good motive for acting like an Ass Clown I just haven't seen it yet. Bo is forced to head to the Dark fae to help Luanne, which brings her to Mayer’s door. Mayer warns her off of Luanne. He tells her that everyone is united on this front. Bo wants to know who is behind the killings even if no one is willing to help her get Luanne out.

Bo comes home to Kenzi playing video games. She goes in for a hot soak, Kenzi misses the ambush coming. Luckily Bo is prepared, kinda. Little miss dreadlocks still manages to toss Bo around a bit, until Kenzi’s game is interrupted by a cracked ceiling. Gosh I hate when that happens. Kenzi’s appearance makes Dreadlocks pause long enough for Bo to spear and electrocute her.

Dyson takes a look at the body, and tells her it’s not an official hit. She has no side, no protection. And she doesn’t want to hear what he’s telling her. He offers to let her stay with him, to heal her, and she views his olive branch as pity, which of course makes her go all volcano and erupt. Kenzi saw it for what it was, but smartly held her tongue.

Bo finds herself at the Dal, to speak with Trick. She asks him about the Morragh, Little Miss Dreadlocks.
The Ash meets with Lauren about Bo. He knows about the naughty Dr, and he assumes its to build a strong relationship for the light fae’s benefit. He tells her that the fae Bo seeks is called Vex, he’s a favorite of the dark fae. The dark will kill Bo if she causes problems, and he’s not ready for that. He plans to have the Morrigan send Vex away while Lauren distracts Bo.

Bo finds a medallion similar to the one Lauren wears, and asks Trick about it. He tells her that Lauren doesn’t work for the Ash, he owns her in exchange for protection. She mentions she wishes there were some sort of book to keep track of all the type of fae, as Trick brings one out. Trick asks Bo, about what she feeds off of, and Bo says Sexual Chi. The Morragh feeds off of rage. He tells Bo “it’s not about losing control, its about taking it.” Until she has control he gives her the sericon, a sword made of unicorn horn, to assist her in her task. It’ll hurt any fae, and protects the bearer from corruption.

Lauren comes to visit Bo, after Luanne drops her appeal. Lauren doesn’t understand why Bo is taking the news so hard. Bo sees their similarities, and how Lauren lost her fight. Bo’s not sure if she wants to be normal, but doesn’t want anyone to tell her that she can’t be, she wants the right to chose. Lauren kisses her, and Bo pulls away. But Lauren is insistent, saying that she trusts her. And Bo finally beds the good doctor. Afterwards,  Bo is quick to go after Luanne, but Lauren asks her to leave the case alone, and Bo finally sees that Lauren does indeed have an agenda, and that she slept with Bo to distract her for the Ash. Lauren is more owned by the Ash than Bo wanted to believe. The betrayal in Bo’s heart runs deeply, and although Lauren doesn’t see it as wrong, Bo does. And she’s done playing nice, lets hope she doesn't run into another Morragh, she'd be quite the meal at the moment.

Bo goes to Mayer looking for Vex. She calls in her debt, even though Mayer warns her off Bo refuses to be deterred. Luanne prepares to meet her fate with Trick watching. And Bo prepares to meet Vex armed to the teeth. Vex is prepared for her though. Vex immediately turns the tables on Bo.

Lauren turns to Dyson, and tells him about Vex, whose a Mesmer, which means he's a kick ass pupetmaster who's about to make Bo his plaything. Dyson runs to her rescue. This guy seriously needs a white horse to assist with all his damsel rescuing.

Vex toys with Bo, but Bo isn’t playing fair as she draws the sericon. Vex knows the goods on her mother, or so his says, just like everyone else. I'm getting really tired of that being the saving grace, stop pulling the mommy card. Dyson stops Bo before she goes all red queen on Vex, and she draws the blade on Dyson, even though he’s protecting her. Dyson lets Vex go, and Bo is left with no clues on her mother.

In the morgue, Luanne awakens. Trick is waiting to have a little chat.
