BBC AMERICA Releases New ORPHAN BLACK Clone Posters

Your favorite clones are back!  On the heels of the return of BBC AMERICA’s Peabody Award-winning series Orphan Black, the network released today two all-new poster images from the series. Award-winner, Tatiana Maslany, returning to her unprecedented lead role as multiple clones created by “Project Leda”, is joined by Ari Millen who will also take on the charged role of highly trained, identical male-soldiers created by “Project Castor”.  More vulnerable than ever before, the sisterhoods bond will be put to the test.  The critically-acclaimed, action-packed series returns to BBC AMERICA and will broadcast live across all AMC Networks in a station takeover Saturday, April 18, 9:00pm ET.

You can’t choose your family…or can you? BBC AMERICA’s original drama Orphan Black, starring Tatiana Maslany in multiple roles, returns April 18. The groundbreaking series’ second season brought new enemies to light, culminating in a shocking finale which revealed a new line of militaristic male clones, played by Ari Millen. Season three plunges the clone sisterhood, Project Leda, into unexpected territory with the realization that they’re not alone. Orphan Black returns Saturday, April 18, 9:00pm ET on BBC AMERICA.

After neutralizing the threat by the DYAD Institute (the company that monitored them) – Sarah, Helena, Cosima and Alison (Maslany) are finally all united in their journey towards the truth of who and what they are. But new discoveries that include Helena’s kidnapping, a book that could contain the answers to their existence and the most shocking discovery of them all – a set of treacherous male clones with an unknown agenda – will test how tight their new bonds are.

No sooner has Sarah caught her breath after a stealthy escape from DYAD and the ruthless clone Rachel (Maslany), she is called upon to face the crazed, captive Castor clone, Rudy (Millen). But it is the discovery of Helena’s disappearance that spurs Sarah into action, rallying her sisters in the quest to reunite their clone family, and find peace once and for all.

Their greatest threat is a band of highly trained soldiers – identical brothers dubbed Project Castor. Unlike the sisterhood, Mark, Rudy, Seth, Miller and others (Millen) grew up together, fully aware of who and what they are. Developed by the military, this wolf pack was raised as regimented clones – singular in thought, movement and allegiance. Hell-bent on kicking up dirt, they’re dispatched to tackle their mission from all sides. But differences in approach betray cracks in their armor, and may be the very thing the sisters need to escape their clutches.

The sisters will need all the help they can get. With Cosima’s fluctuating health and no known cure for the mystery illness that ails her, she is holding onto life by a thread while nursing a broken heart left by her scientist lover Delphine (Evelyne Brochu). Can she find a cure in time to save herself and her sisters? As the turbulent world of Alison turns, she faces fresh suburban woes and new marital challenges with lovable oaf of a husband Donnie (Kristian Bruun). How far will Alison go to keep up the façade of her cookie cutter life? Sarah’s torn between her desire for a life with daughter Kira (Skyler Wexler) and Kira’s father Cal (Michiel Huisman) and the urge to protect her foster family – loyal and feisty brother Felix (Jordan Gavaris) and mother Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy). But Mrs. S’s betrayal may cause her to turn her back on the only mother she’s known.

The hits keep coming for the girls but their commitment to this new family is as important as ever. No clone can do it alone, and Sarah must align with unlikely bedfellows in order to take on what is yet to come… and hopefully, discover the truth – her truth – along the way. How far are they willing to go to save each other and protect their families?

Co-created by Graeme Manson and John Fawcett, with Manson also serving as writer and Fawcett as director, the Peabody Award-winning drama also stars Dylan Bruce as Paul, an army officer working for secret forces in the clone world, Kevin Hanchard as Art, a detective caught in the clone trap and Zoe De Grand’Maison as Gracie, a Prolethean escapee. Guest-starring this season will be Justin Chatwin as Jason Kellerman, a neighborhood dealer, James Frain as Ferdinand, a cleaner sent to Dyad and Ksenia Solo as Shay, a new woman in Cosima’s life.

Orphan Black is produced by Temple Street Productions in association with BBC AMERICA and Bell Media’s SPACE. The original drama is executive produced by Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier of Temple Street Productions. The international hit series is distributed by BBC Worldwide and can be seen in more than 170 countries. The first two seasons of BBC AMERICA’s Orphan Black are on VOD, streaming on Amazon Prime, and available to purchase on digital platforms as well as Blu-ray/DVD.

Dominic Cooper (“Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger”) Guest Stars as Howard Stark

MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER: Pilot – SERIES PREMIERE
ABC presents its second action packed series from the creative minds at Marvel in “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” inspired by the feature films “Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger” and “Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” along with the short “Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter.”  The series premieres TUESDAY, JANUARY 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET).

Years before Agent Coulson and his S.H.I.E.L.D. team swore to protect those who cannot protect themselves from threats they cannot conceive, there was Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell, “Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier”), who pledged the same oath but lived in a different time when women weren’t recognized as being as smart or as tough as their male counterparts.

But no one should ever underestimate Peggy.

It's 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field; putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – aka Captain America.

In the premiere episode, “Pilot,” when old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, “Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger”) finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy -- the only person he can trust -- to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis, to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for selling these weapons of mass destruction. If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison – or worse.

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” stars Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Chad Michael Murray as Agent Jack Thompson, Enver Gjokaj as Agent Daniel Sousa and Shea Whigham as Chief Roger Dooley.

Guest starring are Lyndsy Fonseca as Angie Martinelli, Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark, Andre Royo as Spider Raymond, James Hebert as green suit, Kyle Bornheimer as Agent Ray Krzeminiski, Ashley Hinshaw as Colleen O’Brien, Carrick O’Quinn as tall bouncer, James Frain as Leet Brannis, Tim True as tipsy guy, Johnny Marques as bartender, Jeffrey David Anderson as short bouncer, James Urbaniak as scientist, Bill Kalmenson as Senator Webster, Lesley Boone as Rose, Costa Ronin as Anton Vanko and Kevin Heffernan as Madison Avenue Guy.

”Pilot” was written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and directed by Louis D’Esposito.

Intruders S1E8 (Season 1 Finale) - "There Is No End" Recap

Queens, New York, 1931. Bix downs another drink before getting on stage to perform. He immediately downs some more liquor after coming off the stage. She wants him to quit and he promises to do. He'll get a new band and get back into shape. But two leeks later, he's close to death while Rose cradles him. Rose grabs the mouthpiece of his trumpet and forces him to stare at it as he dies. She promises that they'll be together again, she'll make sure of it. So she's just made his trigger.

Returning to Seattle in the present day, Jack is right by Gary Fischer's dead body after he jumped off the big, bad building that all the mysteries have been connected to: 999 East 3rd Street. He calls 911 before heading into the building. Todd Crane is bleeding out of his leg wound and gives Jack his keys, telling him to open the mailboxes. Upon doing so, a secret door opens which Jack follows to the basement. Jack opens another secret door labelled "Q.R." while Madison secretly watches. Two men pass by professing their plans to kill Shepherd after Cranfield's interment.

Detective Blanchard brings Madison's parents to see a nine-year-old girl who isn't talking. But it's not Madison, but Meadow, who becomes distraught when she hears them say Madison's name. Madison is walking down a corridor in the basement and remembers when Marcus was last there. He was sealed inside a wall, brick by brick. Rose chided him for his behaviour and how it has repeatedly caused risked exposure for the group. Shepherd secretly visited him and removed one of the bricks to show him a sand dollar before putting the brick back, thus creating Marcus' trigger.

Jack finds himself in a room full of books, some of which include the "9" journals. Some belonged to famous people, like Nikola Tesla and Ronald Reagan. The next room over is a room full of triggers. Jack angrily begins to break and smash up some of the triggers until he hears the sound of Madison hammering away at the bricks that still hide Marcus' body. Jack finds Madison and takes her hammer, causing her to threaten him with a knife. Madison tells Jack they have something in common: their lives have been ruined by Rose. Jack asks if she's the missing girl, which elicits an angry reply that it's just Marcus Fox now. Jack recognises Marcus Fox's name so out of curiosity, he hammers a hole through the wall and recognises the mummified corpse of Marcus. He tries to make Madison stay put, causing her to slash his arm with a knife and take off while Jack goes to spy on Cranfield's interment.

Rose and some other shepherds are wrapping the body into a fetal position. They then place it into a crypt. Jack sets fire to a journal before putting it back on the shelf, sending everything up in flames. The group runs out and Jack confronts Rose, telling her she's going home with him. Madison tries to attack her but Shepherd shows up with a gun, leading Amy out while Jack pursues them through a smoky corridor.

The cops and medics are on scene, having retrieved Todd Crane and put him on a stretcher. Detective Blanchard and the O'Donnells are also there. Madison finds her way out of the building, coughing from smoke inhalation. Madison's mother calls out to her, causing Madison to say, "Mom?" and begins walking over. But Shepherd isn't far behind and Rose tells him to end this. Shepherd fires but Jack tackles her to the ground. Shepherd and Rose get away in a large car and medics swarm her to try to get her to start breathing again.

Madison meets Marcus at the edge of a mountain lake. Marcus says that a body can only get rid of one of its souls at the moment of death, and that his will is stronger. Madison says she feels sorry for him. He's lived a few hundred lives but hasn't learned there's nothing stronger than a kid who wants her parents. She tells him, "What goes around stays right here," and then her eyes fly open on the street.

Shepherd patches Rose up at the hotel and says he only brought Marcus back for the money, so he could run away with Amy. But Rose isn't Amy. Rose wants Bix, who she finds is no longer in the hotel room.

Jack wakes in the hospital with Blanchard sitting in a chair reading what Fischer had taped to his chest. He asks if Jack is in some kind of cult and Jack claims that Fischer was insane. Blanchard says that Madison said Marcus Fox took him over. Blanchard wants to know what Jack saw and Jack tells him Marcus' body was down in that basement before it went up in flames. Blanchard is determined to find out if Fox is involved in this group, which he knows Rose is a part of, and won't quit until he knows that Marcus Fox is gone. Jack checks on Madison to make sure she's okay and she tells him "he's gone." Jack wants to be sure, but he can't be all that invasive with Madison's parents right there so he exits with Blanchard. He passes by a child who calls him over and greets him with the same warning (promise of revenge) and hand gesture as one of the men he killed.

Jack returns home for the first time in what feels like forever and begins trying to piece his life back together. He calls Fischer's family to tell them that no matter what they hear about Gary, none of it was true and he was a good man trying to make things right. He loved his family very much. Jack says that maybe they'll meet again before hanging up the phone.

Jack begins to clean up his house before finding that Shepherd is waiting in the living room for him. He invites Jack to take a seat. Shepherd and Jack discuss how Jack has been spared because of his skills. He has the potential to be one of them. Shepherd slides him a little black box, which Jack opens and finds a set of business cards inside. He pulls one out and it has the number 9 on one side, and "Jack Shepherd," on the other.

Intruders S1E7 - "The Crossing Place" Recap

Jack goes to a church and belligerently questions the priest about life after death but of course he has no answers. He returns to the hotel to try to see Amy/Rose but he is made to leave by hotel security. He goes to confront Todd Crane at his place and Jack lays one hell of a smack down before cops show up and arrest him. But Jack was able to get the information he was after. Amy will be at the building tonight, the one shared with Marcus Fox.

Rose is still in the hotel room with Bix, who is drinking heavily to cope with his confused state. She calls Shepherd for help and then tells him off for waiting nine years to trigger her because he was in love with Amy. Could Amy have had an affair with Shepherd? She thinks he may have sabotaged Bix's returns because he didn't want Rose with anyone else. She knows he brought back Marcus and he doesn't deny it. He says he had triggered Marcus at a young age so he could be killed before doing serious damage. But he couldn't pull the trigger on a nine-year-old girl. She orders him to find Marcus and take him out. Shepherd visits Crane and almost kills him until Crane promises to work for him instead. His first order is to drop the assault charged against Jack because the Reverti don't want the attention.

Jack wakes up at the jail and a man in the cell says that his son is next to him. This son died before birth and it waiting for Jack and Amy, but Jack is pulled out for questioning before Jack can learn more. The detective doesn't believe his theory on Qui Reverti but peaks his interest by providing information on Shepherd. This is the man who shot Bill Anderson as well as the other body found at the pier, and the police want to apprehend him. Jack shares how he went to Crane to find out about his wife, who own a building with Crane and Marcus Fox. Marcus Fox was the first case the detective worked and he wants to be able to close it if he can. The detective shows Jack a video of an old interrogation of Marcus describing old historical murders in detail. He says he's a historian and these are crimes he has committed, going back to the "Ave Verum Corpus" killings. The cop shows Jack the photos from the recent murder and share how Madison's parents were the ones to find the body. Then the call comes in that the charges against Jack have been dropped. But then Jack sees a composite sketch of Shepherd form Madison's parents. Jacks says that this is the man who killed Bill Anderson. He's a wanted man for repeatedly passing himself off as an FBI agent.

Rose tries to reconnect with Bix but he's feeling sick, hearing music all the time. He wants to be with Rose but isn't happy in this state. Just because you can live again doesn't mean you should.

Shepherd visits his brother Jim. Jim is in a non-responsive state but Shepherd talks to him while cutting his fingernails. He says he's taken money form a bad man, wanting to get out and take care of Jim but now he could be killed for it. It's closing in on him. He's always had a habit of trying to be the good guy but ending up the bad guy instead.

Madison arrives at the building with Crane's daughter Meadow, whom she kidnapped from school. She has a knife and is demanding to see Rose, who isn't there yet. Crane opens up a mailbox with a key Madison was given when triggered. Meadow escapes and Madison cuts Crane on the leg. On the roof of the building, Gary Fischer is preparing to jump. Jack arrives, having found a letter in Fischer's hotel room that had the phrase "In the beginning, there was death," on it. Jack tries to talk him off the ledge but Fischer says the only way to beat this thing is from the other side. He jumps to his death and the evidence about Qui Reverti is taped around his waist in a plastic bag.

Intruders airs on Saturdays on BBC America at 10PM.

Intruders S1E6 - "Bound" Recap

Shepherd tells Rose he's willing to take over where Frank left off. Frank's dead now but he doesn't tell her that. She's about to become a member of the Nine, which will make her too visible so she reluctantly accepts Shepherd's offer to help. Frank had been on a mission to find the man Rose loves. For anyone who doesn't remember, Rose is Amy (kind of). They have the same body but Amy "has gone to sleep."

Jack calls Amy and claims to be out at Gary Fischer's hotel. She tells him she's home on the couch and to come home. But he's already returned home and is looking at an empty couch. He begins tearing up the house, looking for clues to figure out what on earth is going on with his wife. He has a flashback to him time as a cop, when he shut three mean dead as he came through their door. He comes across a onesie in a drawer, reminding him of the baby Amy miscarried. He goes through the office next, finding divorce papers in a manila envelope, and then a small safe which he cracks the code to. Inside, there's Qui Reverti books and a box full of various items, including a small coin. He spots someone outside, so he pockets the items and then heads out of the room, shutting off the lights and keeps his gun in hand, because someone is coming into the house. The door unlocks but it's only the neighbours Brud and Bobbi Zimmerman, who had come to check on the place. These are the same neighbours who he had borrowed the car from. He puts the gun down on the desk before him.

Shepherd visits a Chinese restaurant and calls his waiter Peter Noone, without him introducing himself first. He later plays jazz music and Peter looks uneasy. He then calls Amy to tell her he has found the man she's been looking for.

As it turns out, Brud and Bobbi have already been shepherded. Jack is ordered to leave and he should be considering himself lucky, as Rose liking him is what has kept him alive at all. He is permitted to pack a bag and begins to do so but attacks them on the way out, gaining the upper hand and pulling a gun on them. But Rose has arrived to tell Jack herself that Amy is gone, as is the life Jack had with her. Jack asks about the books and the trinkets, which Rose explains are mementos from her past lives that can trigger her back. Jack doesn't believe in Rose and thinks that Amy is simply suffering from a breakdown following the loss of their son Dylan. Rose suggests that Jack prefers Rose to Amy, implying that they have already had a relationship consisting of his most intense moments with Amy. Jack kisses Rose before shoving her away, and Rose says that she caused the miscarriage. Jack begins to strangle her but lets go. Rose demands her triggers, and Jack drops them on the floor. He sinks to the floor, saying he feels sad for her, and apologises to Amy for not saving her or protecting the baby. He says he'll never let Amy go but Rose says she's not there anymore, but she at least doesn't know that Rose terminated the miscarriage. Rose buried the baby with respect so they could all be together someday. She then leaves her wedding rings by the door, saying they can be Jack's triggers in his next life.

Madison's parents arrive at Marcus' old home and smell the dead body before breaking in and finding it. They're horrified at seeing it up close but are at least relieved by the fact that it isn't their baby girl. They call the cops to come investigate and the lead officer recognises the killing style as belonging to Marcus Fox. Outside, Allison tells the officer how much she loved being pregnant and how it gave her purpose. Loving her baby is the only thing she's ever been sure of.

Jack is drinking and remembering the gruesome scene when Amy miscarried. Afterwards, she had claimed to have had the body cremated. They went into the woods to scatter his ashes and planted a tree in memoriam of him. But one night, Amy had come back from the woods, and proceeded to wash her hands thoroughly. So Jack heads back into the woods to the tree and begins digging it up. He finds Dylan's remains and cries while holding the baby bones.

Rose meets Shepherd and he warns her that nothing good can come from her making contact with Peter. She insists it's worth it, though he says that they'll be kicked out of Qui Reverti and lose their ability to keep on living if they are caught. They knock on his door and show him one of a Rose's trinkets. It's a mouthpiece to a brass instrument. Bix is also given one of the books. Rose says that since this is new for him and she was an amateur working in secret, it may be a difficult adjustment. But she's happy that they're back together again and kisses him on the cheek. He then asks how she found him.

Intruders airs on Saturdays on BBC America at 10/9c.

Intruders S1E5 - "The Shepherds and the Fox" Recap

In Seattle, Washington, nine years ago, police raid Marcus Fox's home. A record plays Mozart's "Ave Verum Corpus," and find a wall of knives. There is a fish tank with several sand dollars in it and under all the floorboards, there are dead bodies.

In present day, Jack is questioned by the same cop that questioned him after he broke into the Anderson home. Witnesses confirm that Jack was trying to help Bill so he is not under suspicion for being involved in the crime. However, Fischer ran out when Anderson was shot which doesn't sit right with the cop or Jack.

Madison visits the building owned by Crane, Marcus, and Amy but is sent back outside by a woman working inside.

Shepherd is in a hotel room when he gets a visit from Frank, who had helped him shepherd Donna in 1990. Other members of Qui Reverti are having doubts about Shepherd's commitment to the cause, especially after his highly public disposal of Bill Anderson. Frank wants to kill Marcus Fox, as well as whomever helped him to return. He asks Shepherd if he was the one, but Shepherd denies doing so. Frank believes Shepherd, who is of course, lying. Frank tells Shepherd to find the person responsible and "be as sloppy as you want" in taking them out.

Amy calls Jack to see how he's doing. He's in a motel room drinking but lies and says he's in Le Soleil, the hotel she stays at when in Seattle, doing research for his book. Next he's called by Rose, who tells him he is only alive because of his wife and to go to Pier 9 the next morning. Jack later tries to call Fischer but he doesn't answer. He tries calling the firm he supposedly works at but learns that he hasn't been with the firm for several months now.

Fischer calls Jack back while Jack is at the pier, and promises to explain everything later. Frank arrives at the pier to meet Jack, telling him Miss Gilchrist sends her regards (Rosie). Jack just wants to make sure his wife is okay and that any involvement she has in the organisation is by choice. Frank tells Jack he'll see Rose again, but not in this lifetime, donning a pair of gloves and preparing to take Jack out. They fight, and just as Frank is about to kill Jack, Shepherd shoots Frank. Frank turns to face his killer and Shepherd tells him that if what Qui Reverti says is true, than this death won't matter much. Shepherd tells Jack that if they ever meet a third time, it'll be because someone has told him to kill him.

Madison is wandering and comes across a house that looks familiar. She shouts out for her mom and dad and goes pounding on the front door. But the home belongs to a man named Larry, who answers the door. Madison runs in and forcibly uses the phone to call her mother. Madison doesn't know where she is so Larry takes the phone. Madison's mother, Allison, tells him that she's been missing for a week so he gives Allison the address. Madison then begins to realise why the house was familiar. It was Marcus' house and flashes of memories include the wall of knives. Larry doesn't believe in ghost stories but Madison stabs him when his back is turned to try to answer the phone Madison had hung up.

Jack goes to see Fischer at Le Soleil and asks what he is hiding from. Fischer's room is scattered with several files and paperwork. Fischer said that the trouble began with Bill Anderson. He went to learn why he wasn't depositing the check and learned that the ghost machine actually worked. When Fischer arrived at Anderson's home, no one answered. He knew someone was there so he went around the back. There was a vibration and he looked through the basement window. He grew terrified and began to feel sick. Fischer returned to Chicago but there were lingering aftereffects from the machine. He felt sick and began to have trouble sleeping. He would sit in his daughter's room trying to figure things out. One night, he went to look at his daughter but something changed in her eyes. It wasn't his baby anymore. It was another soul - Donna. Donna was the girl that killed herself while they were in high school. Her suicide note was written entirely in the third person. Fischer says Donna came back to warn him about Qui Reverti.

Shepherd figures out where Madison went and tracks her down at her old place. He scolds her for returning to this home. Madison wants to see Rose but Shepherd tells her that's not going to happen. Shepherd says he didn't think their deal all the way through and pulls his gun on her, preparing to fix the mistake he made. Madison tries to play innocent, and is successful just long enough to run outside and steal Shepherd's car. Her driving is erratic as it's difficult to see over the steering wheel in a nine-year-old body. She crashes the car and Shepherd finds it after stealing Larry's car. He is upset to discover that she has spilled his sunflower seeds.

Fischer is still trying to convince Jack of his theory. Fischer makes Jack note the changes in Amy as of late. Fischer says everyone is born with two souls and that Qui Reverti goes around triggering the second souls back into consciousness. Anderson's machine exposes the second soul to everyone. But Fischer can't go home. After he shook his daughter, his wife filed a restraining order. Fischer becomes emotional so Jack puts him to bed, telling him to sleep. On his way out, Jack spots some pills on Fischer's nightstand and pockets them. He spies through the peephole to get a look at room 909, where Fischer claims Rose is staying. He spies Shepherd coming out of the elevator and knocking on the door. Amy answers the door, and Fischer tells her, "We need to talk, Rose."

Intruders airs on Saturdays on BBC America at 10PM.

Intruders S1E4 - "Ave Verum Corpus" Recap

Madison is Seattle, in a new car being driven by an older man. She has a dream of the day her parents rented the beach house. She was able to play the piano even though she had never taken a lesson. She tells the man she wants to go home but says that "the man" makes her not remember.

Fischer brings Jack to the building Amy had visited when claiming to be at home. It belongs to a wealth businessman named Joseph Cranfield, who is also one of Fischer's clients. He's always done well with money but a year ago, he had Fischer dissolve his fortune and disperse it. Most of it will be gone by the time he dies, however, part of it has been put aside in a ten million dollar check that Bill Anderson, the recipient, is refusing to cash. The second part of the fortune still intact is a building where Fischer saw Amy. The building is in the Crane family. Todd Crane is a partner at the firm Amy works at. For the past 150 years, the Cranes have been trustees on the board of a charity called the Sycomacy Trust. This charity has been leasing the building under the name of three trustees: Todd Crane, Marcus Fox, and Cranfield. When Cranfield dies, his authority will transfer to Amy. Fischer doesn't trust Amy and just wants to find the truth. Jack tells Fischer to send him everything he has on Bill Anderson but never call again afterwards. Jack heads out, leaving Fischer alone in the building, and it's then that an old-fashioned phone rings.

Amy is at home watching a program about a jazz musician named Leon "Bix Beiderbecke, who died at 28. She appears entranced by him and touches his face on screen, whispering "soon" to the television set before flashing back to her miscarriage. She becomes agitated and smashes the television screen with a fireplace poker. Later on, her phone rings and she hears a computerised noise much like the one Jack heard when he called Cranfield. She smiles eerily.

Jack gets a call from a person using a voice scrambler, warning him not to go into the Anderson house but he does anyway.

Shepherd also receives a call from the voice-scrambled person, whom he calls Rose. She berates him for not taking Bill Anderson seriously. He tells her Anderson is long gone but Rose says he's still in Seattle and was seen by Frank Shepherd.

Madison codes to the children's corner in a library. While there, a book by a woman named Alison reminds her of her mother. He photographs the serial number on a machine in the basement before being apprehended by police. She then heads to a breakfast diner and orders some food and coffee. The name Alison has been written repeatedly in her little black book. She grabs a newspaper and then a sports headline jogs her memory of her mother's phone number. She calls her mother, who becomes emotional on the phone. Madison says that the man inside won't let her come home and that he wants to see a man named Crane. Madison then passes out.

Jack is interrogated by a cop who thinks Anderson murdered his wife for the life insurance. Jack says if he were looking for money, he'd just cash the ten million dollar check. The cop also knows something about the darkness in Jack's past as an LAPD officer. Fischer posts Jack's bail and Jack insists that he call Cranfield. Upon doing so, he hears the strange computerised noise and shows it to Jack.

Madison goes to visit Todd Crane and storms into his office. Marcus in Madison's body makes creepy comments about Crane's daughter and threatens to cry rape if Crane throws her out. He even asks if he's doing it with his secretary and demands to be put in touch with Cranfield. Marcus is also angry that Madison won't go down quietly. Crane tells Madison that Cranfield can't help anymore, as he is sick and on his way out. She asks who's next and whether Rose was triggered. Crane gets exasperated and calls security. The secretary comes to take her out and Madison is frantic, claiming Crane forced himself on her. Before leaving, she menacingly warns him, "What goes around, comes around." Madison leave, and Crane calls Rose, saying it's urgent and that they have a problem they thought they'd never have to face again.

Jack and Fischer go to Cranfield's house where they are turned away by a guard. They go around back and hop the fence in order to spy on what's happening inside. They see Cranfield wrapped in gauze. He is suffocated to the point of death and Amy is there to hold him down with the others. Once Cranfield is dead, Amy shuts the curtains, preventing them from seeing any more. Jack has recorded what has happened on his phone. Jack and Fischer are spotted by guards but are able to get away. Jack grows enraged in the car, yelling at Fischer about not knowing what is going on.

Jack then decides to reach out to Bill Anderson and calls in to Tim Truth's radio show with an encrypted message that includes the serial number of the machine from the basement. Anderson meets them at a restaurant, where he tells them he returned Cranfield's check because it was given to him with the condition that he stop his research. Fischer was not aware of these conditions. Bill says that his research was on infrasonic signal vibrating at 19-hertz. These were sounds not heard but felt. Essentially, he constructed a ghost machine. He is trying to give further explanation but Shepherd shows up and shoots him twice before walking out. Before dying, Anderson says, "Qui Reverti."

Intruders S1E3 - "Time Has Come Today" Recap

Jack is driving home, drinking, texting, and scrolling through Amy's phone all the while. He returns the borrowed car and while leaving the key under the mat, Bobbi appears with a gun drawn on him. At first, it's like she doesn't recognise him. He says he's returning the car and then she lowers the weapon. He then gets home and Amy's in bed, saying that she couldn't remember Jack's number without speed dial, was hunting for jobs at other firms, and didn't stay at her usual hotel or she'd get caught by people who know her. She asks about his bruises and dumps his liquor down the drain, assuming that was part of the reason he ended up in a fight. Apparently alcohol has been a problem for him before.

Shepherd is also on the road, looking for Marcus/Madison. In a flashback, we see Shepherd meet Marcus, who was worried about the Nine trying to kill him. It would also seem that Marcus is thousands of years old. Marcus made a deal with Shepherd, who was called Richard at the time, in which Marcus would give Shepherd some money and then Shepherd could claim to still be hunting him. The Nine wouldn't stop till they killed him but Shepherd could bring him back. Marcus would get control of the Nine and reward Shepherd. Marcus gave Shepherd a sand dollar and warned him, "What goes around comes around."

Madison is still in the car with Karen, whom she hitched a ride from to get to Seattle. Karen is concerned that Madison is a runaway and that in taking the money Madison gave her, she has put her own greed before the well-being of what she sees as an innocent young girl. Madison talks about classical music while Mozart's "Ave Verum Corpus" plays on the radio. Madison says that a young girl was murdered by a serial killer on May 29, 1791, during the piece's first performance. Madison goes on to claim that she was there that night, playing in the orchestra.

When Madison goes to sleep, Karen pulls over at a rest stop. She takes the "9" card from Madison's pocket and uses a pay phone, since her mobile phone is dead, to call the number of the back. Shepherd answers and Karen is able to give him their location before Madison comes and yells at her before violently smashing the phone repeatedly on the machine. Madison then claims that the man she just called was her Uncle Marcus, who had molested both her and other children. She spoke up, no one believed her, and now she's on the run. Karen believes the story and agrees to keep driving Madison. They head into the bathroom, after which we hear the sound of banging and Karen's screams.

Amy's still keeping secrets, as she goes outside to have a smoke and make a phone call. Jack tries to ask her about it and she tells him she wants to separate. He doesn't take the news well and it's implied that he has been abusive in the past when he drank. He thinks she's having an affair and punches the glass door. She says she never meant to hurt him, adding that she's not leaving him but leaving herself. Amy gives Jack a speech about how death is a lie they're told to be controlled, saying that they can return from death. We learn that they lost a baby at some point in their relationship and Jack is angered by this "new age hippie shit" that she has never said before. It seems as if their relationship can be mended, as they begin to make out on the couch, but once her pupils dilate she ends it and moves to sleep on the other couch. Later, Gary calls Jack to tell him he has things to show him that are about Amy and "not good." Gary has surveillance photos of Amy, who wasn't home when she said she was. He believes Amy is connected to the Anderson murders.

Shepherd arrives at the rest stop and finds Karen's empty car. He heads into the bathroom and finds a mess of blood and Karen dead in a stall. "Goddamnit, Marcus," he says. He speaks to Karen's dead body, chiding her for picking up hitchhikers. He sets the rest stop on fire, along with her car, and throws her teeth out his car window as he drives off so her body won't be identifiable via dental records.

Intruders S1E2 - "And Here… You Must Listen" Recap

Madison's mother finds that she is missing and frantically begins searching for her but to no avail. Madison is at a train station. She becomes lucid and remembers the journey she took to the train station but also the stop she took to meet a Chinese woman who welcomed her back before giving her a black book with a gold nine on the front. The book also contains an envelope full of cash and a pair of keys inside. Her train ticket is set to take her to Seattle, Washington. The opening message of the book reads, "In the beginning, there was death."

Jack visits Amy's place of work but her boss Todd is evasive, saying he doesn't know where Amy is. He offers to pass her mobile phone on and says that she isn't in Seattle that week, or at least not with them. Jack dreams and it's unclear whether he's recalling a memory of something that actually happened. He and Amy are in bed and she begins speaking Russian and moves towards the window. He tries to wake her and asks if she is okay. She says she is because "in the beginning, there was death."

Madison's father Simon comes in and is tearfully embraced by his wife whilst she he is being interviewed by a police officer.

In El Cajon, California, Tim Truth is covering for Oz Turner. He tells listeners that Oz's death is being ruled a suicide but does not believe this to be what truly happened. He says to Bill Anderson that if he is listening, they are all there to ensure he doesn't get captured. He also insinuates that Oz was killed for revealing the name of the secret society, Qui Riverti. He says the killers are out there listening but he and others will never forget.

Madison's visitors are visited by Shepherd who is claiming to be an FBI agent. His manner of questioning is rather abrasive and oddly specific so they ask him for some identification. He retaliates by saying that Nick Coulson is the man Madison's mother has been sleeping with. Simon storms out angrily and his wife chases after him. This leaves Shepherd to go snooping through Madison's belongings and he finds a torn out page in her notebook and finds that she had written the message, "What goes around comes around."

Jack goes asking around to various cab drivers for George, the man who had found Amy's phone. George receives word that he is looking for him and goes to meet Jack in a bar. George says that Amy frightened him and that he overheard her say she used to live in Russia and that she assassinated a Czar in the 1800s.

Madison reads a message in the book that welcomes her back, saying she has been missed but now her river flows again. It says to not be afraid of uncertainty, headaches, or unfamiliar memories, adding that this has all happened before and will happen again. Only Qui Riverti can understand. There is no such thing as death. Her pupils dilate as she finishes reading the message, likely indicating her switch back to Marcus. She then presents her ticket to the worker, who despite Madison's best efforts, refuses to allow her onboard as an unaccompanied minor. He flatly apologises but she rebuffs him, ominously saying that what goes around, comes around.

Shepherd goes to Chinatown and visits the woman Madison saw in her vision. She questions him as to what he has done since they have never had a nine-year-old visit them before. He demands to know where she has gone. Shepherd fights and kills off her hired muscle. She pleads with him to not kill her, saying she will be 72 next month and that it's not her time yet. He ignores this and shoots her anyway.

George admits to Jack that Amy was with a man but it seemed like they were just friends. Jack continues on his search for her by looking for the nicest hotel in town. George helps him with his search but they are then chased by some men in dark clothing. George is badly beaten but Jack is able to fight them off using his skills as a police officer. A man is about to shoot Jack but then one of them says, "No, she said no," and they run off. Jack helps George up and George says that those men were after Jack and leaves, saying he is done. Jack receives a call from his friend, enquiring after the car he borrowed. Jack apologises and then admits that the reason he is in Seattle is because Amy went missing. It's then that Amy is patched through, saying she is home, and asks where he is. He looks up and sees someone watching him before going inside and turning off the lights.

Madison tries to bribe a man to pretend to be her father so she can board the train but he believes that she is a trap to bait predators so he refuses. She spots Shepherd searching for her so she runs out. She runs outside and is able to shake his tail before bribing a woman to drive her to Seattle. In the car, Madison continues to read the message from her little black book.

Intruders S1E1 - "She Was Provisional" Recap

It's 1990 and the setting is Barstow, California. A girl named Donna is having her birthday and blows the candles out on her cake. In her yearbook, we see the football captains Gary Fischer and Jack Whelan. For those who didn't already know, Jack Whelan is the top bill on this show and played by John Simms (The Master on RTD-era Doctor Who).

She goes to sleep, only to wake with two men in suits looming over her. One shows her a yellow, circular object and says he is giving a secret back to her that she had given to them several years prior. He then shoves the object into her mouth. She vomits and begins convulsing before mumbling in an unrecognisable language. The men leave her a bus ticket to Seattle and a black card with the number 9 on it.

Donna wakes up later that morning on the front lawn. She calmly goes back inside and looks over the ticket and card and her pupils dilate. She writes a note that states, "Because in the beginning there was death. I am not Donna," underlining the word "not" multiple times. Not-Donna fills the bath, slits her wrists, and bleeds out while the blood splashes onto her note, which is addressed to Gary Fischer.

In Seattle, Washington, present day, a man claiming to be an FBI Special Agent Shepherd knocks on a woman's door. He was one of the men who shepherded Donna but hasn't aged a day. He forces his way inside, demanding to know where her husband Bill Anderson is. She insists she doesn't know and he shoots her dead before also killing her son Matt as he calls the police. He sets a fire in the basement before leaving.

In Birch Crossing, Washington, former cop Jack Whelan is shown to be concerned over his wife Amy, who hasn't been acting like herself lately. It's her birthday and he catches her dancing alone to jazz music, something she's never done before.

In Reno, Nevada, Oz Turner is broadcasting on a pirate radio station. He's spouting conspiracy theories about Bill Anderson and his recently deceased wife and son, along with a society known as "Qui Riverti," the ones who tried to kill him. Shepherd is shown to be listening to the broadcast.

Amy blows the candles out on her birthday cake and Jack proposes a trip to Paris so they can rekindle their relationship. The rekindling begins with a countertop lovemaking session. During this, her pupils dilate enormously.

In Finley Beach, Oregon, Madison O'Donnell is about to celebrate her 9th birthday. Her father calls and her mother sternly tells him on the phone that he can't see her. Madison runs outside without blowing the candle out. She stands on the beach and Shepherd stands back before mysteriously holding up a sand dollar, setting it down, and walking away. Madison then comes over, picks it up, and examines it.

Amy leaves for her business trip and tells Jack not to call her office. Jack receives a visit from his football co-captain from high school, Gary Fischer. Jack knows that Gary was following him and has waited to make contact with him till after Amy was gone. Gary wants to talk to him about something but insists they not do so in the house. They head out into the woods, where Gary tells Jack about Judy and Matt Anderson's murders. Jack assumes it's the father, Bill, but Fischer says that when Matt called 911, he said there was an "intruder" in the house. Gary wants Jack to investigate and their conversation also dances around the reason why Jack was forced out of the LAPD.

Two days pass and Jack hasn't heard from Amy. He receives a call by a cab driver who says the phone was left in the back of his vehicle. Jack is further confused since she also didn't check in at her hotel and her calendar for the next month is completely empty.

Shepherd makes contact with Turner on his radio transmission. Shepherd knows Turner's name, which causes him great stress. They set up a meet. Shepherd returns to Finley Beach, Oregon, and gives Madison one of those black cards with a 9 on it. He calls her Marcus and pulls a gun on her. She cries out that she is just a kid and shouts for her mother. He hesitates to pull the trigger and she runs away.

Jack borrows a car and heads to Seattle to get Amy's phone back. He uses it to call her office and they simply say they'll have her call him back. The phone has strange texts to unknown numbers, including one that reads, "We must wait until he's dead." When Jack tries calling the number, he only hears jazz.

Shepherd meets Turner in a booth in a bar. Shepherd plays the role of a conspiracy theorist also interested in Bill Anderson's murder. Turner talks about some of Bill's way-out-there ideas as an acoustic engineer, including one related to cathedral organs. Apparently, European cathedrals have pipes that produce sounds too low for the human ear to hear and that apparently if humans could hear them, they would hear how to never die. Shepherd leaves quickly, saying they'll talk about "them" soon.

Madison is having nightmares related to strangulation. She draws a bath, writes a note, and is visited by her cat Loopy. She initially greets him cheerfully but her demeanour abruptly changes and she proceeds to drown him. After a moment, she reverts back to her normal self and becomes distraught at realising what she has done.

Turner returns home and is then visited by Shepherd who says he is risking his life to tell him something about Bill Anderson. Once Shepherd gets inside, he tells Turner he should be proud of himself, saying, "They do exist. And we don't die. You do." He then shoots Turner with his own shotgun.

As Shepherd is leaving, he receives a call from Madison, who is now "Marcus." She scolds him for bringing him back too early, mentions something about a shepherd, and that "what goes around, comes around." She then leaves the house with only a backpack.
