Bitten Recap S1E9: Vengeance

Jeremy spars with Nick, trying to prepare him for the upcoming fight. His father died because he was unprepared, and Jeremy cannot afford to have anyone fighting with emotions. Jimmy Koenig in the past always fought for the pack not against it. Jeremy warns that Antonio underestimated Jimmy in the past and vowed to never do it again. When Antonio came back to the pack, Jeremy was suppose to go get him, but his father had something else in mind and sent Jimmy. Antonio admitted that he finally understood why sons were raised by the pack. Antonio told Jimmy that if he plans to kill him to do it quick, and bring his son to Jeremy. His father had other plans, he wanted him to watch Jimmy at work as he killed another mutt, and to do the same himself. Antonio choked his captive, crushing his windpipe, then Jimmy forced him to dig their graves. Antonio rejoined the pack, and never spoke of Nick’s mother again. Jeremy asked Dominic about it later, and Antonio’s father had never given the order, it was all Jimmy’s manipulation. He forced Antonio to kill someone just for sport. Jimmy enjoys the kill, wants to savor that victory. Jeremy warns Nick not to lose his focus.

Elena and Clay spar. He tells her that her eyes are giving away her next move, but she’s not taking his advice. He’s trying to share with him all that Malcolm taught him about Jimmy’s fighting style. Elena fights harder, and Clay puts her down. He tells her that if she hates him, that Koenig is worse, to take all her hate and channel it against Koenig, cause he won’t be easy on her, he doesn’t love her. Elena stalks off. Nick gives Clay an update on Jeremy. He’s not fully recovered, but they can only hope he’s prepared.

Daniel fills Jimmy in on the fact Cain has been compromised, which is fine by Jimmy. He plans to meet Jeremy head on, he called and set up the meeting himself, and he warns Daniel away. Daniel warns that he’ll be outnumbered, but Jimmy thinks it just makes his job easier. He tells Daniel that he’ll clean up his mess. Le Blanc nettles at Daniel, that Jimmy is giving him grief. Le Blanc wants a chance to kill Jeremy for sport. Daniel tells him if he wants to take a run at the pack be prepared for Clay. He tells him about a mutt that went after the pack 10 years ago, Clay skinned him alive. Le Blanc may kill for fun, but Clay does it for obligation, no mutt goes into Stone Haven and comes out whole, if they come out at all. Amber is broken hearted to hear that he doesn’t think Cain is still alive. Daniel prepares another bunny for Victor Olsen to hunt, which Le Blanc thinks is a waste of time. Le Blanc wants to atleast kill Joey Stillwell, who they have bagged in a cage, but Daniel is saving him for Victor. Amber cries, Cain should have listened, should have changed her. Le Blanc tells her that if Cain was smarter he would still be here, and Amber’s little mind comes with another plan. She plays to Le Blanc’s ego, stroking it, he pulls a knife on her, and she continues her seduction. She plays up destroying the pack, destroying Elena.

Nick tells Jeremy that he’s not ready, that his injuries are a liability.  Logan still has not arrived, so they’ll have to go without him. Elena worries that it may be a trap, but Jeremy knows that Jimmy likes to fight alone. The pack has been hit hard with recent loses, but Jeremy plans to end everything today, with his family around him.

Logan and Rachel get a sonogram and see their little gummy bear on the screen. So far everything looks good. Rachel asks when she can start telling people, and the doctor tells her since it’s a healthy pregnancy she can start now. The doctor tells them the sex of the baby, and dashes all of Logan’s dream when she reveals the baby is a boy. Worst news ever for a werewolf, were only the male children inherit the wolf gene.

Philip continues to scrutinize the video showing her necklace, worried. Diane arrives, she has gotten a lot of interest in Elena’s work, but Elena isn’t returning her calls, and worse, she needs to move up the date of her show. Diane hopes she can get Philip’s help setting up, he agrees if she’ll help him with something. He shows her the video of the wolves taking down the coyote, and the part that’s bothering him, Elena’s necklace at the tail end of the video, on her clothing. Elena was running that night nearby on the beach with her cousin Logan. Diane repeats his words, telling him that he sounds crazy. She doesn’t believe that she’s sleeping with her cousin, that there’s a reasonable explanation for it. Diane suggests that if he can’t talk to Elena about it to talk to Logan and put his mind at ease.

Jeremy waits in the abandoned factory for Jimmy. Jimmy expected some kind of fanfare, but Jeremy is saving it for his funeral. Jimmy retired after Dominic’s death, but he couldn’t say no to this last job. He needed some kind of excitement. Jimmy smells out the other, but they’ve been warned not to get involved. Jimmy is disappointed to see that the pack is so small. He warns after he’s killed Jeremy, he’ll kill the rest. Jeremy matches Jimmy blow for blow, but Jimmy quickly takes advantage of Jeremy’s recent stabbing. Nick jumps in when Jeremy goes down, and gets thrown at Clay and Elena, giving him time to get away.

Rachel discusses the baby’s nursery, debating on sports or dinosaurs. Logan doesn’t really like the ideas of scary dinosaurs, and he’s clearly not as excited for the baby being a boy as she is. Rachel picks up on his worries, thinking that he’s worried about being a bad father because his own was hardly around. She gives him a picture that she found and had framed of the pack, and tells him that his father may not have raised him, but he still had family.

Clay searches for Jimmy, kicking in doors. He hears a pipe break upstairs and heads towards the noise. Elena and Nick find one of Jimmy’s cigarette’s still lit and split up to find him. Jeremy heads towards the boiler room, but hears a noise behind him and heads that way. Nick heads up. Elena heads out and Le Blanc grabs her. He taunts her telling her that he’ll enjoy watching her bleed. She throws him off and makes a run for it.

Clay and Nick search, Elena runs. A homeless woman comes out from behind some rubbage, and Elena tries to get her out of the way and to safety. Elena goes down with a gunshot to the shoulder.

The guys hear the gunfire, and head towards the noise, Koenig forgotten. Elena dives into the woman’s home as Le Blanc nears. She crawls through and hides out, but Le Blanc is too new to uses his sense to smell her out. As Jeremy runs towards the continuing sounds of gunfire, Koenig jumps out, surprising Jeremy, but Jeremy quickly recovers. With Elena in danger, Jeremy fights harder than before. Up jimmy still finds the upperhand.

Le Blanc continues his hunt, and Elena remains out of his reach, crawling away and hiding beneath a car. Clay remains desperate to find her, spies Le Blanc shooting the homeless woman, mistakening her for Elena. He tears off for Le Blanc. Le Blanc turns over his victim, disappointed but with no remorse, as he continues searching, not knowing that Elena is within reach.

Jimmy thinks he has Jeremy defeated, but Jeremy still has some fight left in him. Jimmy takes a pipe to Jeremy, as Nick arrives seeing the fight just beyond him. Jimmy goes to crush Jeremy’s wind pipe, taunting him that they always knew it would end this way when Nick steps in. He grabs Jimmy’s windpipe crushing it, before snapping his neck instead.

Clay makes it outside. Elena’s instincts fight against her, as her body goes to make a change. Clay races towards her, but Elena can’t stop the wolf from coming. She struggles beneath the car as she changes, and Le Blanc hears her cries. He thinks that he has the better of her, taunting about what piece he’ll add to his scrap book. Clay arrives, distracting Le Blanc, and giving Elena time to get away and get control of herself. Le Blanc finally uses his instincts, and smells her out. Elena runs headlong into Clay, in a panic for a moment.

Philip catches up to Logan, asking him for five minutes. Logan is in a hurry, but gives him the time he’s asking for. Philip tells him of his wolf video, of the clothes at the end of it. He tells her that they’re Elena’s, and they were supposed to be running together. Logan admits that they were running that night, which raises Philip’s alarms. He demands to know why his girlfriend’s clothes where on the beach. Logan tells him that he and Rachel had a fight, that Elena was a sounding board and then the two of them went swimming, that they never saw any wolves. Philip accepts the answer, and Logan tells him that though their family is having some troubles right now, Elena is very much wanting to get back to him. Philip sees the family picture from Bear Valley, and asks which one is Jeremy, when Clay catches his eye, or maybe it’s the fact that Elena’s hand is on his knee. Logan tells him it’s their cousin Clay, and although he accepts that answer, he doesn’t look so sure of it. Logan walks him out and finds a package on his doorstep.

Daniel cages Le Blanc for stepping in, and moreso for going after Elena. Daniel is pissed about him toying with Elena. Daniel tells him to forget about Koenig, and take some time to think about what he’s done. Le Blanc isn’t exactly sorry for going after Elena. Amber tells Le Blanc that it’s a shame the bullet didn’t connect, but he tells her that the next one will. He asks her to let him out, and she’s willing for a price. She wants to become a wolf too, she wants revenge, and asks Le Blanc for his help. He starts to undress.

Logan sits with a package. It’s a gift. Rachel comes in and finds a beautiful silver rattle. She told no one about the baby, and the sender even knows it’s a boy. Logan hopes that he let the baby news slip to Elena, still worried over it. He tells her that he’s going to push back his trip to Stone Haven, worried about her, and he should be.

Jeremy stitches up Elena, feeling responsible for Elena getting separated from the group. Elena tells them that she was trapped, that she almost changed, but she stopped it. Jeremy has never heard of anyone being able to stop it. Finished stitching, Jeremy offers to disinfect the rest of her scrapes, but Elena just wants rest.

Le Blanc watches Amber. She tells him that as soon as he bites her, she’ll let him out. She tells him he can be rough with her, she likes it. Gentle is one thing that Le Blanc is not. He bites her wrist, savoring the feeling, believing that her revenge will come soon.

Jeremy finds Nick having a drink, and he’s come prepared. Nick is reading over the Sorrentino family history, he knows that his father would be proud. Nick admits that Jeremy was right, that Koenig let down his guard, too wrapped up in the upcoming kill. He wonders if Jeremy put his life on the line so that Nick could have the kill, but Jeremy doesn’t answer. In all the ruckus, they have yet to spread Antonio’s ashes. Jeremy offers to drive up with him to his family estate and do it, it’s not far and they could be back by morning. The two go to pay Antonio tribute.

Elena sits in the library next to the fire. Clay enters, and she rises. He asks her not to leave. She thought he went with the others to spread Antonio’s ashes. He tells her that she doesn’t have to pretend with him. She worries about the what ifs, but he’s just glad she’s alive, he thought he lost her. She kisses him, and he reciprocates her at first tentative kisses. Their kisses turn more passionate, and they strip down and have sex before the fire. It’s a sweet moment of release, of coming back together.

The next morning, reality comes crashing in, and Elena wakes up naked next to Clay. She slips away, and he feels her go.

Amber goes through her first change, struggling with it. Le Blanc laughs at her struggles.

Logan calls Elena, and she misses his call. He gets her message though, telling her that he needs to talk to her alone. It’s followed by a message from Diane, telling her that the gallery showing has been moved up.

Jeremy finds Elena leaving for Toronto. He allows her to go, knowing that she she’s worked hard for it. He tells her to check in with Logan, concerned about his absence. Furthermore, he tells her that Clay will go with her, that she cannot go alone with all of the issues they’re facing. Clay listens in on the whole conversation. He tells her that Clay either goes with her, or she doesn’t go at all. Elena doesn’t want Clay to come for obvious issues, but Jeremy isn’t budging on this.

Bitten Recap S1E8: Prisoner

The pack is left to clean up their losses yet again. This one has to be a little harder, as they scrub their kitchen clean of Antonio’s blood. Elena feels like they failed Antonio, and Clay admits that they did. And even worse of all their alpha Jeremy is sick. It’s not just bloodloss, Jeremy tells Elena that he’s been poisoned. Clay plans to work on Cain to find out what was used, and Elena scrambles to find what she can, but Cain isn’t interested in talking. He’s changed himself into a big bad wolf to avoid it.

Elena gets ready to go after the mutts. Clay doesn’t want her to go alone, but Elena sees that this is the best option. She knows there was a woman involved, and she plans to find her and wring the information she needs out of her, but promises to call at the first sign of trouble.

Nick is at his club, needed a place to clear his head. He meets with Jorge, who is so wrapped up in Nicks usually lifestyle, that he’s looking for some ladies, but Nick needs his help as a lawyer. He tells Jorge that his father is dead, and Jorge thinks it’s a joke. Poor Nicky, its definitely not a joke.

Clay brings out the big toys and prepares to force Cain back into his human form. He tranqs the big dog easily.

Sylvie and Philip continue to collaborate on his project. She thinks that camera man from the wolf video is hiding something. Sylvie thinks he may have been out there for something else. She forwards the video to a stack of clothing. Sylvie muses that he had gone out there to catch a pair of lovers on the beach, a flash of recognition is quickly discarded. Philip tells her that if Nate is indeed a peeping tom they’ll have to look to a different strategy for the campaign, unwilling to be linked to the potential backlash. Philip plans to meet up with Nate and see if there is any additional footage he should know about and Sylvie sees it as the perfect opportunity for her to tag a long yet again. She tries to snake her way in and kiss him, but Philip isn’t interested. Sylvie tells him that he could have called any of her friends to do the same service, but he called her, and that has to mean something especially with Elena still MIA.

Elena goes back to the gas station for Cain’s truck, and finds lady items inside as she searches it for clues. She finds a ticket inside, bingo, she has what she needs.

Nick updates Jorge on the mutt problem. Jorge wants to talk to Jeremy in person, but Nick tells him it’s a no go. The Sorrentinos are pack now and always, and they plan on teaching the mutts and anyone else who threatens the pack a lesson, but he does need his cousin to erase his father’s death. He wants to let everyone think that Jeremy let his father retire. Jorge has a big job ahead of him. Nick assures Jorge that everything is other control, and just like that Nick grows up real quickly.

Philip looks through pictures of Elena, and zooms in on her necklace, it’s the same one as in the video.

Cain wakes up as a human, and he’s strung up. Clay warns him that it gets tighter, the more he pulls. Cain doesn’t want to talk, and Clay isn’t forcing him yet. He also warns that if Cain changes, the way he’s tied up will rip his wolf shoulders out of socket. Clay is being really very reasonable for the local psychopath.

Elena looks for Cain’s trailer, matching the spot number to the ticket she found in the truck. Just as she’s about to break in, Philip calls. He’s just checking in he says. He asks her if she’s been running, since she left her running gear at home, but normal running isn’t exactly on her mind. Philip asks her about running with Logan, and on Cherry Beach. She hasn’t put two and two together yet, and he asks her if she’s wearing her anniversary necklace now. She picks up on his strangeness, and he tells her he just wants things to be normal, and to come home soon. They hang up and she breaks the lock.

Clay asks what was on the blade that poisoned Jeremy, Cain claims he doesn’t know. Santos didn’t tell him about any poison but that LeBlanc must have poisoned his blade. Cain sees the brilliance of Santos’ new wolf, but he still doesn’t plan on playing ball. Clay urges him to talk while he’s being friendly, and Cain talks, just not about what he wants to hear. He tells him how Pete died, how he squealed and cried like a girl, begging for his life as LeBlanc slit his throat. Cain tells him that he’s not scared of him, trying to goad Clay into killing him, but he’s not taking the bait.

Elena snoops around the trailer. The girl isn’t there, and Elena calls into Clay, while Cain listens in. Clay asks Cain who the girl is, and Cain wants a fight. Cain tells him that the girl is a junky and means nothing to him, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. The chickie returns home in a cab, and Elena hides out. She packs up her stuff, and Elena lets her go. She leaves back the way she came.

Jorge makes quick work of Antonio accounts, but his meetings may be different. Nick plans some flights, making it look like a midlife crisis. He plans to get the rumor mill working overtime, to assist with his cover up, it’s a beautifully spun tail. With Antonio’s life tied up, he takes his place in the legacy.

Jeremy is getting worse. He wants to tell Elena about the first day at Stone Haven, but Clay tells him he isn’t dead yet, that there is still time. Jeremy tells Clay to do what he has to to get the information from Cain, but Clay knows Cain wishes for death. Jeremy shares with Clay about his first change, how Malcolm was a horrible father. Jeremy has been an excellent father, and Clay would change places with him in a heartbeat if he could.

Cain’s girl, Amber sits in the local diner. Elena tracks her down, and makes herself cozy in her booth. Amber asks if Cain is alive, and Elena tells her he is for now. She asks if he’s hurt, and she’s not sure. Amber knows exactly who she is, and knows about the whole werewolf thing too. She threatens to shout it from the rooftop. Elena tells her him staying alive will depend on her.

Cain complains that he can’t feel his arms, and Clay tells him to rub them to increase circulation. He feeds his prisoner, and goes over his mutt dossier. Cain was a drifter his whole life, as was his father. Cain laughs, asks what he would know about it. Clay reveals that he was bitten at age 7, in a camp outside of Baton Rouge. That gets Cain’s attention. Clay was feral and all alone, so he understands. Cain softens just a bit. Clay tells him how Jeremy found him, brought him home and gave him a chance. Clay tells him that they don’t have to fight, that he could join the pack. Cain doesn’t believe the offer could be true, he did just murder Pete. Clay reasons that Pete always put the pack first and so can he, but that Cain needs to help him find out what Jeremy was poisoned with.

Elena tells Amber that Cain signed her death warrant by just revealing his secret to her, that she’ll be tracked and killed by the best hunters. She knew of the rule, but said that Cain would rather risk punishment than to kill her. Amber liked the idea that a real live werewolf was in love with her, until she heard about Elena, and she wants what she is. If she were a wolf she could live the life she wants with Cain without fear. Elena is shocked to hear that Amber asked to be bitten. Amber doesn’t believe for a moment that Elena is special, doesn’t understand the real odd that she would die, and Elena looks at her in horror as she claims that she thinks she could survive.

Cain tells him the other thing that his father taught him. He came from a long line of wolves, and deserves freedom. The pack lets the trash in, and punishes everyone else. His own father died in an ugly way, but that’s just life Cain thinks. Clay stalks away, and just in time, the sheriff has arrived. She came to see Clay. She asks to come in, but he tells her he was just getting ready to head into town.

Elena asks Amber about the poison, but she’s clueless about it. She tells her that it must have been LeBlanc, that she steered clear of him. Amber makes a deal, bring Cain back to her, and she’ll lead her to LeBlanc. Elena pays her tab, and promises that if she leads her to LeBlanc she’ll do what she can for her and Cain, that all she can do is talk to Jeremy, but really that’s their only hope anyways. They told Amber that Elena would say something like that, they were right about a lot of things. And in walks in Elena’s welcoming party. Marsten and LeBlanc have arrived. Marsten sends Amber away. Elena tells him that biting psychos is one thing, but letting humans run around knowing their secret is something else all together. The human wasn’t Marsten’s idea, and he’s not the mastermind of this crazy plan. When Elena gets aggressive, it turns LeBlanc on. Marsten brings up Santos’ offer. Marsten is interested in territory, and that’s his only real qualm with the pack. LeBlanc on the other hand is trying to get cozy with Elena, taunting her, but instead of scaring her, its only pissing her off. Elena grabs him, crushing his hand, and telling him that he’s causing a scene. He thinks he’s an effort in keeping a low profile. Elena breaks his arm, as Marsten fails to hide his amusement. LeBlanc curses her and lets slip that Jeremy was poisoned with Ricin, and is forced to let her out of the booth to try to save her alpha.

Elena returns to Stone Haven, but Clay isn’t home. She goes to Jeremy, and tells him that he was poisoned with Ricin. She asks what she needs to do, and Jeremy tells her a blood transfusion. Without missing a beat, she sets it all up, and starts pumping it into Jeremy. Elena worries about compatibility, as she lies down next to him, and he tells her that there’s no need to, that they’re the same.

Nick sits down for a drink with his bar designer, Amanda. He opens up a bottle of 96, which holds memories for him of his father. Amanda never heard Nick talk about his father, and as Nick describes the hunt, Amanda gets all tingly. She asks if he’s trying to seduce her, but there’s no need, the works already been done. He takes Amanda on the floor, and she’s more than his wiling victim. Nick’s hot quotient goes up a few notches.

Philip goes to Nate’s apartment and finds it empty. The landlord tells him that the only person that lived there was an old hag named Liz. She died about a month ago, and there was definitely no computers, and no Nate. He asks Philip to leave.

Clay returns, and Elena tells him that Jeremy should be fine. Clay was at the station, talking with the sheriff, and she really had nothing to hold him with. Clay isn’t happy when he hears that Elena was face to face with LeBlanc, more angry that the mutts slipped away. Elena had no choice because she had to save Jeremy. Clay is even more upset because Elena constantly fights against him, when he’s just trying to protect her. She asks where that protection was when he bit her. Ooooh, that’s a low blow. She tells him that Cain isn’t trying to protect the other mutts, but Amber. Clay is upset that the let her go too, missing the point. Elena elaborates. Cain loved Amber so much that he told her what he was, trusting her, giving her the chance that Clay never gave her. She tells him that Cain loves her so much, that he refuses to bite her, afraid of losing her, he won’t risk her life. She tells him, that’s what love is.

Clay pays Cain another visit, and tranqs him again. Naked, and bound to a chair he awakens. Clay tells him that they know about Amber. Cain begs for Clay to listen, that Amber won’t tell anyone. Clay tells him that he has to kill her anyways, but maybe he’ll give her her wish, and bite her. Cain stammers about Santos’ plan, Clay wants the location. Cain tells him that Jimmy Koenig is coming soon, and begs Clay not to hurt her, begs Clay to kill him, but to let Amber live. He begs Clay not to hurt her, and Clay grabs a big piece of hardware. Clay asks if Cain loves her, if that’s why he joined Santos. Cain admits he’d do anything to keep her safe. Clay asks if he plays out his life in his head with her, building the kind of life he never got. Cain does and admitting it hurts more. Clay tells him he was right about one thing. He tells him that for killing Pete he will never be forgiven, and clips his manhood. There will be no puppies out of that one.

Nick returns home, and Jeremy is looking better. Logan still hasn’t called in, and he tells Nick that he’s going to have to check on him. Nick isn’t ever going to fill his fathers shoes, but Jeremy still values his opinion. He tells Jeremy that Logan knows his place, but for now, they need to focus on Marsden, Santos, LeBlanc and any others they made. Clay comes with an update, telling them that Cain is handled. Nick offers to help, but Clay kindly refuses. Clay announces that Jimmy Koenig is coming for them, a former Pack enforcer, and still a force to be reckoned with. Nick tells Elena that he was the one that took out most of the mutts, that Antonio called him a killing machine.

Clay admits that Elena was right, that Cain loved Amber more than life, that she can hate him for how they got there, but it doesn’t matter they are who they are. He tells her that what they have is real, and that it’s up to her to decide what it is that they have between them.

Bitten Recap S1E7: Stalking

Nick is certain that the eyes belonged to Dennis. Elena gets a blocked call and she answers it. Daniel asks Jeremy how he likes his gift. He didn’t technically kill Dennis, but he needed an attention grabber.  Clay threatens him, and that is exactly what Daniel is looking to overturn. He wants to a new world order, a less violent one. He has Joey at the moment, and claims he’s safe, which is more than the case of Boggs. Clay tells him that he needed to be taught a lesson, and Daniel shots back that Dennis was taught a lesson too. Daniel wants a meeting to hash things out, Jeremy offers Stone Haven, but Daniel wants neutral ground. Jeremy chooses a location, and although he doesn’t want to meet with the mutts, they can’t wait to be picked off. He sends Elena and Clay to scout out the location.

Elena asks if Clay is okay after his call. She asks what it’s all about. He tells her he was having a hard time with his discipline, that its not the same as it use to be, but that he’s okay now that she’s there. She makes it clear that she’s there for Santos, not him. Clay and Elena scout out the location, and Cain scouts out them.

Philip calls Sylvie for help finding out who posted the wolf video, it sounds a little cozy between them, and Elena still hasn't contacted him.

Antonio makes travel plans for Dennis, someone is in for one heck of a cruise. Nick marvels at the ability to wrap up someone’s life with a simple phone call. Antonio always wished that Nick would take over his job, but Nick isn’t looking to settle down with real responsibilities any time soon. Antonio tells him he'll understand one day when he has children of his own. Nick jokes that he may already.

Rachel comes back from the hospital. She freaked out after experiencing some pain, and after her trip to the ER she feels silly. Rachel confesses that this isn’t her first pregnancy. When she was younger she found herself pregnancy and once the father left, the stress became too much for her and she lost the baby. Logan assures her that they’re fine, and that eh isn’t going anywhere. Oh the pretty lies he spins.

A truck pulls up as Elena and Clay watch. It’s a gift delivery, and looks to be the same wrapping as the last gift. Elena reports back to Jeremy. He tells her not to touch it. He and Antonio head out, leaving Nick behind.

Sylvie arrives at Philip’s, looking half slutty. She finds the person who uploaded the video, and spots Elena’s things. Sylvie doesn’t believe him when Philip says that Elena makes him happy. Sylvie finds that uploader of the video, apparently he’s a nutjob who spends his free time harassing the government via email. She gets his last known address. Philip plans to buy the rights, she offers to come with him, pointing out that she has more in common with the nutjob than he does.

Jeremy and Antonio stumble across an accident on their way to the site. Jeremy goes to help the lady in the road, against Antonio’s advisory. Clay circles the gift when Elena spots Cain as a wolf, and tries to call him, but Antonio’s call gets through to him first. He tells Clay that they’re running late because of the accident. The injured lady slashes at Jeremy, while the hotel mutt stabs him in the stomach. Antonio warns of the ambush. Clay tries to call Elena. Antonio rushes in to help Jeremy, and Daniel just out of his hiding spot and slicing into Antonio. Wolf Cain tries to get the drop on Clay, but Wolf Elena stops him meeting him head on. Clay throws a heavy trash can at Cain, and sends Elena off to help Jeremy and Antonio. Elena heads off, and Cain limps behind. Antonio and Jeremy fight against the hotel mutt and Santos, but Antonio is severely injured. Clay brings his truck around, and the mutt and Santos scramble away.

Sylvie and Philip pay a visit to their video maker. He thinks that his systems are impressive, but Sylvie waltz right into them. He feigns uninterest, but Philip gives out an opening offer, but the guy thinks its far more valuable. Sylvie points out poor video quality, but Philip comes back with a higher option, and more stipulations. The guy asks for a higher rate, but they both just look at him, he accepts the second offer, as long as he’s paid in cash. Philip has his footage.

Elena and Nick meet Clay’s truck to see the injured Antonio. Nick carries him in easy as a baby, as the others rally around him, trying to pack up all of the wounds. Jeremy shouts out orders, while the others get Jeremy everything he asks for. Antonio makes peace, but it doesn’t look good.

Logan makes Rachel a cup of tea, spoiling her. He tells her the baby is a girl, he hopes it is, for their sakes. He tells her that he knows these things, but its just wishful thinking on his part. A call from Elena interrupts them, but he doesn’t take it.

Elena tells Clay that Logan isn’t answering, and she doesn’t want to text them with the news. Jeremy falls over from his own injuries. Jeremy tells them how to help him.

Sylvie and Philip watch over the video. Sylvie tells him that she has a program over at her house that could clean it up a bit, but he doesn’t take her up on her house invite. He tells her he can send it to her. She points out that she wasn’t hitting on him, but that they do make a good team. He agrees, a good team but not a good couple. She thinks that he never gave it a chance, he tells her that what they had was great, but what he has now is better. She takes the loss well, and heads out.

The wreck girl ride Cain in a trailer. She’s crazy and bloodthirsty, and she’s unlike anything he’s ever met before.

Jeremy’s prognosis isn’t good. Antonio is experiencing internal bleeding, and there’s nothing more that he can do for him. Nick wants to take him to a hospital, but they can’t. Antonio calms Nick then calls to Elena. He tells her that the boys need her. He tells clay to find it in his heart to forgive, and lastly he tells Jeremy no more half measures. Antonio tells Nick to get closer, and whispers something in his ear. Nick is grateful for whatever he was told, and just like that Antonio passes.

Antonio and Jeremy has been friends for thirty years, and just like that the friendship is done. Clay wants revenge, and so does Elena. Jeremy wants caution, but Nick is on the revenge train. They want to sniff out everyone involved. Jeremy tells them to find Cain, he’s the weak link.  Elena and Clay will head back and try to sniff out Cain. Nick will stay behind to help with Antonio’s body.  Elena tells them that they can’t bring Antonio back, but they can make it right.

Elena tracks as a human, with Clay close by. They were there only a few hours ago. Elena refuses to lose anymore family, and Clay vows that the only blood to be spilled any further will be mutt blood.

Nick sews up Jeremy’s wounds. He asks if Antonio ever decided where he wanted his ashes spread, but the two had never discussed it. A knock at the door, and Jeremy sends Nick to the door. The Sheriff is looking for Clay, but he’s not home. She asks for Jeremy, and Nick stalls. Jeremy comes as she tells Nick that they found Braxton’s body. He limps to the door, and Jeremy invites the sheriff in.

Cain gets a call from Santos, he and the mutt are headed to Manhattan. His girl toy tells him its because Santos is a coward. She wants to run off with him and start a pack, but he tells her it doesn’t work like that. She wants him to bite her, but Cain wants her to live period. He doesn’t want to risk her and he doesn’t care about alpha.

Elena checks out the next set of tracks, and she knows just where he headed.

The sheriff knows her art, and is impressed by Jeremy’s work. Jeremy gets down to business. The sheriff tells him that Braxton’s throat was cut. He asks how Clay is in the mix. Braxton drank a bit too much, and made it knows he was headed to confront Clay. He never made it of course. She admires the artifacts around his office, and he tells her that he didn’t gather them, that Clay did. He boasts that his son has a doctorate, which brings up whether Clay is his son by birth. She tells him that he doesn’t look old enough to have a son Clay’s age, oooh someone is flirting.

Elena and Clay track Cain to a gas station. Clay cautions that they should wait until he comes out, but Elena wants to take him on alone. Cain comes out to find a very feisty blonde waiting for him, she shifts just her fingernail, and scratches up his paint job. He’s ready to fight, which is good, because so is she. He gets Elena cornered, but Clay is waiting for him. Clay gets him in a headlock, but Elena tells him that they need him alive. Elena stops him from killing him, but just barely.

The Sheriff leaves, very reluctantly. She definitely is hot for the alpha. The exertion is almost too much for him. Nick goes to fetch the medical kit.

Logan tries to avoid Jeremy’s call, when Rachel brings his phone to him. So he’s totally pulling an Elena now? Rachel insists, and Jeremy breaks the news of Antonio’s death. He tries to not raise any red flags with Rachel, as Jeremy tells him to return home. Logan tells Rachel that there’s more family issues, and she asks how long he’s going to be gone. He tells her that he isn’t going anywhere. Poor dummy. That pretty much signs his death certificate.

Clay and Elena return home with Cain. He’s never been inside Stone Haven, and he’s impressed. Elena finds Jeremy, and she tells him that they got lucky. Jeremy doesn’t look good, but he tells her that he’ll be fine in the morning. She sends a call from Philip to voicemail, and Jeremy tells her to call him back and assure him she’s fine so he doesn’t come looking for her.

Clay sees to the comfort of their prisoner. Locked inside the cell, Clay tries to get play nice with Cain, but he taunts Clay.

Elena calls Philip. She tells him that she’s okay, and apologizes for leaving. She tells him that she hasn’t had to deal with a family death since her parents, and being with his family at the wedding hit her hard. She tells him that she’s at Bear Valley for now, and he hopes that one day she can open up to him. She tells him that Logan isn’t there, but some of the cousins are there, and they’re all dealing with it together. She hopes that they stay together through this rough patch, and he tells her that they will. Elena hears Jeremy collapse onto the flood, and she calls for Nick. Something more than just blood loss is wrong with Jeremy.

Bitten Recap S1E6: Committed

Elena makes it back home finally, and she and Philip have a steamy reunion, one lasting apparently two days. He brings up her family, and things rapidly cool down. He tells her to order more food when she mentions that she's hungry, calling it their apartment, but she balks for a moment. She feigns that she has her own place, you know that one that she has yet to go to. He woos her with offers of cleaning services, and her spark has been relit. She's all in, her bad guy radar obviously isn't pinging like mine is. This guy is just too good to be true.

Jeremy tells Clay that Antonio reported back, they're the only family being targeted. Jeremy has send Nick down to get some more muscle, though they'd rather not be apart of the fight, that the families will band together when needed. Clay has Elena on his mind though. Clay isn't ready to deal with the option of her being a mutt, which is exactly what she would be if she remained apart from the pack and refused to come back. Elena may have not liked what she found, but Jeremy won't brand her. A knock at the door, and Samuel Boggs introduces himself. Boggs wanted to meet the alpha, he's surprised that Jeremy isn't more protected. He's done hiding, he wants to be top dog, but before he can challenge Jeremy, Clay takes matters into his own hands, and sends a clear message of strength.

Elena and Philip go wedding shopping. They're discussing gifts when Elena feels like something is amiss. She searches the crowded streets and catches a glimpse of Daniel Santos, but loses him as fast as she spots him. He’s around there somewhere. Philip tries to cheer her up back home, but then he tries to get her to open up about what's bringing her down. She tells him about Victor Olsen. He lived next door to one of her foster families, and he used his rabbits to lure in little girls. He hurt her, and she tells Philip that she helped put him behind bars. Well she’ll be in for quite the surprise to find out otherwise.

Elena tells Logan that she saw Daniel, and that when Daniel came to see the pack he was just stirring the pot. He didn’t really want to join the pack. She also confesses that she couldn't tell Philip about Daniel, so she told him about Victor. Logan tells her that even though she lied, it was a huge confession, since Victor was a part of her past, one that few know about. Elena tells him that Philip asked her to move in with him, and she's worried about giving up her space. She's worried about slipping up about the wolf. Logan tells her not to let her past with Clay color her future with Philip.

Elena brings home some champagne for the wedding. Philip is happy that she's helping out. Elena revisits the moving in subject, and Philip confesses that the cleaning service will likely just be him in a maid’s outfit. She loves the idea, but cautions that she’ll have her stuff strewn all over the place. He tells her he doesn’t mind. With acceptations all around, Philip wants to back up the stuff now.

Dennis Stillwell is dead, Nick reports, he’s has been dead for days and worse he put up quite the fight and still lost his eyes. The family muscle they were hoping for isn't coming, the rest of the Stillwell family is no where to be seen. There’s no sign of Dennis’s son Joey anywhere. Jeremy tells Nick to sanitize the place, Clay offers to come help, but Nick tells him that he’ll be done by the time that he arrives. He also reports that Cain and the hotel mutt are the culprits by the smell of things.

It's about wedding time. Becky and her wedding party get together at Elena and Philip's place. Diane shows off some of Elena's work, but Philip's mother is not impressed. She nitpicks over everything including Becky's flower choices.

Antonio thinks that the other families won't rally to the cause with the Stillwell death. Clay wants the mutt hunts reinstated, to show Jeremy’s strength, but Jeremy still isn't acting. Bogg is back. He wants his chance to challenge for alpha, not against Clay, but Jeremy. Jeremy invites him in, and proves, that Clay isn't the only one who knows how to handle himself. Bogg thought he wouldn't fight, but Jeremy does. He defeats him, and sends him out to be tortured by Clay until he gives up who told him the pack was weakened.

Becky has herself locked in the room away from the family, Elena offers to talk to her. She tells her that she doesn't want to talk to anyone, but she lets Elena in. Becky is off her meds, and her mother isn't helping. Her mother hates everything, not just the flowers, but also the groom. Becky thinks that Colin is amazing, but she fears that her mother is right. Elena tells her that Love is messy, and its bigger than them.

Clay wrangles Bogg down into a cage down below. Clay goes through his stuff, looking at all of his stops on the way to Stone Haven. Bogg tells him that he'll go back and never return again. Clay pulls out some plastic wrap, and wraps his face. He lets Bogg struggle for a little bit before he pokes a breathing hole. Clay asks him who told him to come. Bogg doesn't want to answer, he tries to evade the question. Clay gives him another chance, but it takes another plastic wrap bout before he's ready to answer.

Raachel got send home from work, after a bout of throwing up. Logan hopes it’s the flu, Rachel suspects it’s something else. Handing him a pregnancy test, he looks less than thrilled.

Becky got married, and the reception is in full swing. Her mother is thankful for Elena's help earlier. She confesses that she knew that Becky was off her meds and so much more, like the fact that Elena and Philip are living together, and doesn’t understand why they feel the need to keep things from her. It couldn’t be the fact that she hates everyone and everything.  Elena spots Daniel Santos at the reception, and excuses herself from Mother Dearest. He was talking with Philip when she saw him, but when Elena goes to intervene he slips out the side door. She follows him out to the hallway, and he’s waiting for him.. She isn't in the mood to play games. Daniel tells her that Clay is out of control, that its because of him that the mutts are finally binding together, that they have found a common enemy. Elena doesn't believe him, doesn’t believe that Clay has suddenly lost his shit and is off the rails. For one Jeremy would never allow it. He warns her that sooner or later the danger will land on her doorstep and that she won’t be able to protect the life that she’s built.

Clay delivers his report to Jeremy and Antonio. They see that its another distraction tactic. Jeremy hands him the pliers, he wants Clay to make an example of him, and now its Clay’s turn to look squeamish.

Daniel continues to go on about how Clay is the threat, but she notices that he's smoking one of Marsden's cigars and if she believed him for a second before all of that goes straight out the window. She doesn't believe for a second that he's not a part of the scheme to bring down the pack, that he’s not the one fueling this war. He offers Elena his protection in the upcoming war, that she has a good life. The fight isn't worth the risk to the life she's built. Elena slams him against the wall, and he looks like he likes it. He tells her to align with him, and the two of them can step outside the mess together. She tells him that she would rather die, and he warns that she just might.

Rachel's result is in. Logan sees that it's positive. Neither look happy about it.

Philip's mom grills him about Elena moving in with him. He tells her that it's a good idea, and that she isn’t going anywhere, any time soon, so she should get use to Elena. Jeremy calls, and Elena reluctantly answers, but she does. He tells her about Dennis's murder, and his son Joey being missing. Jeremy tells her that its more important that ever for her to stay in touch.  She insists that everything is fine, and doesn’t tell him about Daniel Santos’s visit. Elena steals Philip for a dance.

Rachel cannot believe that the baby is happening. It could not be worse timing for her career, and there’s also fact that they haven't even discussed children. Rachel isn’t sure she wants a baby right now, neither are sure they want a baby. But she doesn't want to be treated like one of Logan’s client, and she's freaking out just a bit.

Becky and Colin look happy, and Philip’s ready to cut out early, wanting to sneak off with Elena to their home. She goes to collect her coat, when Philip's mother catches her. She tells Elena that she was impressed by her today, and that Phillip is lucky to have her. Elena tells her that she’s the lucky one. Elena gets a call from a blocked number, its Clay. He asks how the big city is, obviously trying to distract him form something else. Something is very wrong, he sounds so broken. He tells her that he's done bad things, necessary things, and its killing him. She tells him that he can't keep going on like this. He wants to be a better man, but he needs her. He asks her to come home, and then hangs up. Elena collects her coat, but there's a gift, for Jeremy in her pocket. Eww, I foresee what its going to be already.

Jeremy sits in his office. Clay delivers the teeth that Jeremy requested, half human, and half wolf ones. Bogg changed halfway through, and Clay didn’t want to force him back before finishing. Jeremy tells him to send him off once he awakens.

Philip goes to find Elena, but she isn’t where he thought she should be. The coat check girl tells him that she left.

Philip is dining alone. Diane comes over, to grab some of her things when she notices that Elena isn’t there. She left him a text, nothing more, telling him that she had to run and would talk to him soon. Diane stays to have a drink. Elena keeps him on his toes, Philip admits, but isn’t sure it’s a good thing. Diane is convinced that they'll talk and everything will make sense, but Philip isn't so sure.

Logan returns home with some pink Himalayan salt as an apology. Rachel tells him that at least she had an idea that this could be coming. She suggests that they let it all sink in before they make any decisions. Logan is all on board for that. She has no idea that this means the end of their relationship, especially if it’s a boy.

Nick returns and finds his father. Nick gives him a picture, their families were especially close once. Antonio says that they should haven’t sent Nick, but they never imagined that he would find a bloodbath when he got there. Antonio admits that he can’t protect Nick, he tells him that none of them are safe, and he tells Nick how proud he is. Everybody say awww with me.

Nick deliver’s his report, that Dennis was killed, and that Joey was still missing. He’s sure once Joey is found though that he’ll join the pack against the mutts for revenge if nothing else. Elena arrives and tells them that Marsden isn't the one they should worry about. The boys are surprised to see her back. She tells them that Daniel left him a gift, one he won't like, that he’s the mastermind behind the mutts. Jeremy opens the gift, it's Dennis's eyes.

Bitten Recap S1E5: Bitten

The message on the wall "I'm coming for my scrapbook, Bitch" Elena looks pissed.

Elena toys with Pete's ring, as Clay, Nick and Jeremy try to figure out the next plan. Elena reasons that they have to be close, Marsden came in quickly when he was called, too quickly to be that far. Jeremy doesn't want to split up to search, he's willing to see if Santos's lead pans out. Clay doesn't want to work with Santos, but it may be the only choice. Elena wants to be bait, but Jeremy isn't ready for that.

Four years ago, Nick is telling Clay of the benefits of Canadian girls. Elena needs a job to pay her tuition, and Nick and Pete tease what a hard ass Dr. Danvers is. Talking to Clay she has no idea he's the teacher she's applying to work with, mistaking him for a student. He's instantly attracted to her and even Pete and Nick notice. Pete takes Nick aside, so Elena and Clay can talk more, when she finally sees that he's the teacher. Clay plans to meet with her the following day, in denial that she could be more than a passing fling.

The Sheriff has an anonymous call about Braxton's truck. It's covered in blood and in the woods, close to Stone Haven. Her deputy thinks foul play, and although she can't rule it out so soon, there's also a chance that it isn't she tells him.

Clay thinks Elena is onto something with Marsden, that he's in nearby Syracuse. Elena points out that he's been given orders with Jeremy. Clay thinks her lead is worth looking into. She asked if he'd go against Jeremy, and right now he would.

The Sheriff comes to ask about Braxton. He was headed towards Stone Haven when he went missing. Clay says he has nothing to do with the man missing, the sheriff insists that they're only questioning them due to proximity. Jeremy volunteers the help of his family to lead search parties to find Braxton. The sheriff appreciates that help and goes to round up a search party.

Elena knows that this is another ploy by Marsden and co to keep them too distracted to find them, and point the blame on Clay. Jeremy points out that if they don't help them and cooperate then they'll just get a warrant that could include the house, and the last thing they want is to have them search the property.

The hunter is not happy to have Clay help out, but the sheriff wants them to all work together. Jeremy makes an excuse to have he and Clay work in the house, to calm the crowd. The Sheriff goes over search plans. 100 acres to cover, and not much time.

Past, Elena tries to figure out the best approach to Clay, as he overhears her. He opens the door for her surprising her. His office is a mess of unpacked boxes. She impresses Clay not only by having read his book, but also with her determination. He still looks for reasons not to hire her, but she isn't ready to backdown. He takes her on.

The search begins, with the hunter  accompanying Elena and Nick to prevent them from tampering evidence.

Victor has had a good run in jail. He needed to stay into jail, but he's on his way out. He claims to be in love, but his officer doesn't believe her.

Jeremy wants Clay to stay close to home for when Daniel comes. Clay doesn't want Daniel in the house, but Jeremy reminds him of the past, that he found him as a child, already bitten, and that it took days for him to gain his trust, but it happened, that every decision he makes is one he thinks is good for the pack. Clay tells him the ones he makes are as well.

Elena searches the woods when she gets a call from Diane. She wants to know when Elena will be home, but Elena tells her that it's complicated. Becky had a bridesmaid drop out, and she wants Elena to step in. Nick listens in on her conversation. Philip slips onto the line, and Elena tells him that shed love to help. She doesn't give a return date, but Philip and Diane think she's in. Diane doesn't understand why Philip was at her cousins funeral. And Nick asks if Clay knows about the other man. He doesn't, but she says that she left Stone Haven, and moved on.

Past. It's the end of the semester and Elena helps Clay back up. He looks sad and lost, but Elena tries to make the most of it. She tells him that she'll be okay, that she'll survive, and Clay admits that he's not good at this, that he's not ready to go. He tells her he feels like he's drowning, and she's feeling the same. She inches closer to him, and kisses him. He strips down, and things rapidly progress on the couch from there.

Elena spots Braxton's body, or rather smells it. She alerts Nick, and plans to throw the group off the trail. She falls down, tripping over a root. She feigns a sprain ankle, while Nick picks a fight with the hunter. He lets him get some good hits in, even giving him a bloody nose while Elena runs towards Braxton's body. The Sheriff breaks up the fight, and sends everyone back to regroup.

Elena finds Braxton, which triggers memories of the past. Clay brings Elena home for the first time. She's nervous, knowing that its a big deal, and afraid that Jeremy won't like her. Clay admits that he didn't tell Jeremy they were coming, or that they were engaged. Elena sends Clay in to break the news, while she waits outside. Elena hears something in the woods, and Clay tells her that Jeremy isn't there, when it was Jeremy watching her in the woods. Elena is impressed with her first look of Stone Haven. Clay tells her about a totem that he use to favor as a child, and Jeremy pops in. Elena apologizes for their drop in, and she can tell Jeremy isn't happy to see them. Elena begs him to make it better. Jeremy tells him that he shouldn't have brought her here, that he isn't allowed to love her, but Clay can't just let her go. Jeremy tells him that he wishes keeping her was that easy. Jeremy goes to have tea with Elena, telling here that Clay is off with one of the neighbors to explain his absence. Elena makes small talk, asking him if he ever gets scared of the woods. But there isn't anything in the woods that scares him. In walks a giant dog, could it be Clay? Of course it could be, Jeremy didn't give him any choice. Elena sees him and thinks that Clay let out the dog, and she's fascinated by him. Jeremy watches apprehensively, too far to do anything. Elena lets the dog smell her, and Jeremy makes a grab for him. He grabs Clay, but Clay bites her in the process. Elena tells him its okay, that it's just an accident, but Jeremy sees that he broke the skin. Elena collapses in his arms.

As a wolf she drags away Braxton.

Philip watches the video of Elena and Logan as wolves. His Vodka contact wants to work it into the campaign, and Philip agrees to do it.

The search party makes it back. Jeremy apologizes for having to cut the search party short while Nick goes inside. The sheriff doesn't blame him, says she cut a corner, and doesn't plan to cut anymore. Inside, Nick tells Clay that Elena is moving Braxton, and that he's definitely dead. Clay doesn't want Elena alone. Daniel Santos arrives as everyone else is leaving Stone Haven.

Jeremy brings Daniel inside. They make niceties, he's looking for Elena, she took a bite out of his ear last time. This guy rubs Clay all kinds of wrong. Nick doesn't look to happy to see him either.

Philip meets with his client, talking to him about rebranding to incorporate more of the wolf image. Philip will take care of it all, just what is this guy up to?

Daniel wants to realign with the pack, spinning a story about being a poor disillusioned kid. He wants to wait for Elena to return, and I have a feeling it's not going to be the information they expect.

Past.Clay and Jeremy watch over a passed out Elena. Jeremy doesn't think that she'll survive, that no woman ever has, but Clay knows she will. Elena awakens in a cell, and Jeremy gives her water. She thinks she's been drugged, she wants Clay, but he tells her that Clay has been sent away for biting her. She's sick, very sick, and Jeremy breaks the hard news to her that she's about to experience the first change, which will bring about a world of hurt. She begs for help, but there's nothing he can do to help except offer her some simple words of encouragement. She survives the first change, and he's a little impressed. Back human, she awakens, and Clay apologizes. He doesn't know how to explain, and Elena is still upset over the biting. She loved him and trusted him, and still she wants him to hold her. He opens her cage, and he wraps his arms around her, and she uses his weakness to shove him into the cage and knock him out.

Elena returns and isn't as happy to see Daniel as he is to see her. He wants fair trade. Information for pack status. Being a lone wolf isn't safe anymore. Marsden is making a pack of psychos to counter the pack's psycho. They killed Pete to send Clay into blind rage. Santos shows he may still be a slime ball, but he also understands their moves. Nick shows him out, but not before he tells Elena not to forget, that the Queen can make any move she wants. Clay tells Elena that he should have been out there with her, and she tells him that she had to do the one thing that she hates the most and change to protect him. Clay tells her that if he could go back and change things he would, but that eh did what he did because he loves her. She tells him that she's going home.

Past. Clay finds Elena and she begs him to let her die. But he won't let her. He tells her that he knew she would survive because she's a survivor, and that Jeremy will teach her.

Cain finds Victor in a park. Sick bastard is spending his time watching children play in the park, waiting for "Amber" to meet up with him. Victor is leery of Cain, but Cain claims that they're friends. Cain wants to give Victor some payback with one of the girls that helped him to get locked up, Elena.

Elena tells Jeremy where she stashed the body. She tells him that she's going back home. She tells him that she came because he called, because he's like a father to her. He was the one that taught her to believe again, that taught her to trust when she couldn't and because of that she will always come when he calls, but asks him not to call her. She walks away, and none of the boys stop her.

Bitten Recap S1E4: Grief

The pack gathers to say goodbye to Pete who they've already had cremated. As they share kind words about Pete a wolf roams the woods. All Pete ever wanted was to spread his love and he was killed by a monster. The wolf's howl sends the pack into the woods on two legs to find him. Elena leads Jeremy and Clay, and they come up empty. Elena finds Pete's jacket, and there's no chance to change and find him. Jeremy decides that they will mourn, and the hunt starts tomorrow.

Elena finds Logan in the kitchen, he's waiting for her with a hot cup of coffee. She can't sleep, and she can't talk about it, angry over Pete's death. All explanations of Pete's death point to one thing, the Pack's rule is being challenged. Elena can't go home until the mutt is caught, and she can't talk to Philip about it. He tells her to get it all out of her system before she goes home, and reminds her that he's there for her.

She goes to find Jeremy, he's scattering Pete's ashes around the forest. Seeing Pete reduced to ashes hurts more. She's never been to a funeral besides that of her parents when she was five. Pete's death stirs up all the heartache and vulnerability she's carried with her about not having a family. Jeremy tells her that they cannot replace her birth family, but that they are her family in every sense. She has people who love her and want to take care of her. Elena still doesn't feel she belongs. Jeremy tells her she's an important part of the life they have. Elena only sees violence and death. But its more, its love and family too, that life is about finding balance. It's not easy, and although Elena does not want to be caught between extremes. She's angry, and wants Jeremy to be too. She hates it all, she wants revenge.

There's a new player in town. He dresses after his little change, this is likely the one who left Pete's jacket.

Elena punches a tree, and Clay tells her it won't bring Pete back. She's never had someone she loves brutally murdered. Clay embraces her, talking has never been his strong suit, but he offers her a different kind of release for her emotions. She's not willing to take him up on his offer. She cannot think of a worse time or place to have this conversation. He strips down, tempting her to run. They need to blow off some steam. She gives in. He chases her, and pins her, she gets away, and they continue their run.

Jeremy talks with the Sheriff to see if her investigation is completed, but it isn't. The facts don't match up. They've determined that the child was not killed on the property, but taken there. She asks if anyone has something against the Danvers. Jeremy claims that he is nothing more than a painter with no enemies. But the sheriff has a rising body count, so she's not letting it go. She's not making accusations, just trying to make sense of things.

Elena and Clay nap in the nude. Elena's hands roam over the planes of Clay's body and he awakens and kisses her. She kisses him back, but when she opens her eyes she pulls away. Poor Clay.

Back home, Elena runs into Logan and Nick, and she makes a dash to change before they meet. Clay follows her in, and Nick asks about their run. Clay tells him they just ran. Nick tells him to put some clothes on. Philip calls Elena, and she tells him she misses him. He offers to come down for the funeral, but she doesn't want him there. He asks about the wolf killed at the rave, but she tells him that the press just blew everything out of proportions. She makes promises to still attend his sisters wedding, hopes to see him soon.

Antonio tries to put together the pieces, bodies on the property, Pete's death, two new mutts. Jeremy remembers another time when they had all this trouble. Back when they were Clay and Nick's age there were great Mutt hunts. Mutt's either fell into line or were slaughtered. Pete's death was avoidable, Jeremy is too complacent. Antonio tells him that the fault doesn't just call on his shoulders, and that they need to look at the bigger picture. Jeremy is the alpha, but they're all in it together.

Elena stops Clay. She was okay with the run, but not with anything else that happened, she wanted to make sure it was all clear. He understands. Every time he says darling, it makes me giddy. The casting has been fantastic.

Jeremy is still not looking for an all out mutt hunt, but its coming. He has Antonio tie up Pete's loose ends, which is already being handled, and talk to the other Packs to see if they're having similar problems, or if this is a bid for his throne alone. Either way the pack is ready to nip this in the bud.

The Sheriff goes to visit a fisherman, who is also the former sheriff. She's not looking to wish, but information on the Danvers family. There are plenty of rumors, but he went out only once. A telephone worker vanished on their property. They never found the body, some suspected he saw something he wasn't suppose to, but there was no evidence of foul play. She has a bad feeling about the family, and he tells her to trust her gut, but be careful.

Jeremy meets with everyone, except Antonio who is already gone on his tasks. Nick and Logan are to go to the dead rave mutt's house and turn it upside down looking for clues on who made him, and wipe it clean. Logan is suppose to be at a conference, so  Nick will handle it alone. Jeremy stresses the need for caution. He sends Elena and Clay to the town to pick up the scent of the new killer. Jeremy tells them that he wants them alive.

Elena and Nick stop at the gate where Pete's body was found. She smells the same wolf as the night before, and she wants him caught now. In town, the pair stop for some grub, and Elena relishes over her burger. Clay overhear some local girls talking about the wolf at the rave, and they zero in on Clay and his hotness. The girl who narrowly escaped being lunch because her brother intervened at the bar in an earlier episode points out Clay's wedding ring, but her friend points out Elena's lack of ring, and the body language. Elena is done listening. A hunter comes in, and Braxton is missing, the one who tussled with Clay earlier. He confronts Clay about it, but they know nothing about it. Clay tells him that when he surfaces he's be happy to make things square. The pair go to leave, and the hunter throws a punch, but Elena catches his fist. She tells him they're sorry his friend is missing, but not to make things worse before pushing him away. Ouch, that has got to sting the manhood just a little.

"FBI man, Rich (Antonio)," comes looking for Pete. The door manager, Dave claims to not know where he is. He tells him if he sees or hears from Pete to call him, he's wanted in conjunction with a case he's working on with the DEA. Well I guess that's one way for someone to disappear and not raise suspicions. Dave gives Pete an immediate call, leaving him a message warning him that the FBI is looking for him and maybe he should do some traveling. After hearing the message on Pete's phone, Antonio crushes it and discards it.

Philip meets with his sister who is on some kind of crazy diet. She asks about Elena, and he tells her that she's at a family funeral, which shocks her a little. Elena never mentioned any family to her either. Elena has a lot of walls, and her family was one of them. Diane warns him that her evasive boyfriend turned into an ex without a warning, but Philip doesn't think its the same situation, but Diane urges him to be open and sit Elena down and talk with her.

With Braxton missing the town is going to be even more hostile. Clay thanks her for watching his back and caring. She tells him that she didn't want him getting into a fight, but he lets her know that he can handle confrontation without resorting to violence. Its nice to know he's grown a little in their time apart. Elena picks up a scent, but its too vague.

Elena and Clay find themselves at a motel, she's sure that he was there. She wants to split up and cover each floor, but Clay wants to stick together. She thinks its to protect her, but he tells her its so she can cover him. They search the top floor first, and Elena finds the room. Clay breaks the doorknob and they start their search. Elena finds a scrapbook of his kills. He likes to keep mementos and the newspaper articles. He likes to torture and kill his women. He's a trophy hunter. Someone is turning psychotic murderers into werewolves. A truck comes screeching into the parking lot, and its a mutt they recognize harassing a man they do not, Zachary Cain. Clay knows Cain is smarter than this half baked plan. Elena focuses on the other man, the new mutt. Clay wants to take them out now, but Elena wants to wait. Things got more complicated, Karl Marsden arrives too. Mutts have never worked together in the past. Elena wants to get back and talk to Jeremy. Clay breaks the door in between the rooms, and Elena uses the Mutt's body spray to kill their scent before running as the trio arrive. Marsden looks at the body spray in disgust. It wasn't enough to completely mask their scents though. Marsden picks up both Clay and Elena's scent. The pair slip out the room and jump floors. The body spray keeps Cain from picking up the fact that Clay and Elena are below him. Marsden is unhappy that the mutt hasn't been following orders.

Nick brings back what he's found for some show and tell. His mutt escaped from prison. Jeremy has pictures of three men who escaped at the same time. Elena recognizes the dead mutt from the mugshots. Scott Brandon was serving a life sentence for brutal rapes and murders. Nick wonders if Marsden and Cain are purposely making a pack of killer and rapists, but Elena doesn't buy it. Cain isn't smart enough, and Marsden is too much of a loner. Jeremy tries to poke holes into that logic. Clay tells them about a warehouse Marsden had mentioned. Hopefully not Nick's! Jeremy goes over what they've done so far. They converted new mutts, then put the spotlight on the Danvers Pack to restrict their movements, they attacked them via Pete. If they were to bring down the pack it would be utter chaos, there would be no one to police them. In time their secret would be exposed, and then it would be all out war between humans and wolves. Clay warns Elena that there's only one way to stop them, and asks if she's ready for that. She's more than ready.

Daniel Santos pays Logan a visit, and he wants to talk. Logan reluctantly lets him in.

Jeremy, Nick, Clay, and Elena head back to the motel, hoping to find the mutts.

Daniel makes small talk, he wants to talk about the situation in Stone Haven. He came to Logan because he's a rational guy, and because the Danvers hate him.

The pack make their way to the room. Santos reveals that the mutts had to bind together, eventually, since they were tired of the Pack's rule. They were pushed too far. Santos wasn't always considered a mutt, his family comes from a long line of pack wolves, his great grandfather was even an alpha. He tells Logan he wants him to convince Jeremy and Clay to let him come to Stone Haven to join forces against the mutts.

Nick breaks a lock and he and Jeremy enter.

Logan asks about him and Clay. Clay killed his brother, but he's willing to let bygones be bygones, it was collateral damage.

Clay goes to open the next door, but this one is wired. Elena sees it just in time, pulling Clay out of the bullet spray. There's no time to look around, the whole town likely heard the sound. Elena spots Pete's finger in a shot glass on the table, and message on the wall. "I'm coming for my scrapbook, Bitch." I say bring it on. The wolves look pissed.

Bitten Recap S1E3: Trespass

The pack smells the same wolf that killed the other girls. Nick and Clay want to move the body before the hunters can spot them, but Jeremy reasons that being caught in the middle of hiding a child's body would be worse. The hunters find the Stone Haven residents around the mauled child. They point their fingers at them. The hunter's dog is going crazy with Elena goading it, and Clay fights with one of the hunters. They think that the pack are protecting the wolves, they have no clue obviously what is really going on. Jeremy calls off Clay, being the voice of reason, and the hunter walks away just a slit lip. The hunters leave, and Elena wonders who would kill a child. Jeremy makes a call into the sheriff, reporting the killing.

Elena has decided not to leave. The hunters are off the property for now. They regroup trying to figure out the next step. Some think that they're targeting them, others wonder if its just women and children. Elena is determined to stay until the mutt is found. Antonio and Jeremy plan to deal with the sheriff, he sends Clay and Elena to head into town and see if there is a scent trail, and Logan, Nick and Pete off to find another Mutt who may have the inside scoop, Karl.

Jeremy takes Elena outside to talk about her new boyfriend, to see how serious it is. Jeremy trusts her, but no matter what he reminds her that she has a secret she has to keep. Elena makes a call to Philip to thank him for the flowers, and he's just being a great boyfriend. Clay turns up the music in his car to drown out her conversation. She joins him shortly, and their off.

The sheriff tells Jeremy that the locals are preparing for a wolf hunt. He tells her that they were all walking together when they stumbled across the child.

Philip gets an unbelievable offer, to branch out into the vodka market. Does anyone else get a weird vibe from him, or it just me?

Elena and Clay hit up all the bars that the mutt has been to, and there are a lot. But they can't find any new scents. Clay brings up the flowers, and she explains that she had to lie to her boyfriend. He tells her that she shouldn't have to lie. One of the hunters approach the pair, warning them that many feel there's a wolf on their property and since they're not doing anything about it, they're being blamed. Elena finds a flier for a party, which looks like perfect mutt bait.

The sheriff continues to get clues, and she even has reinforcements. Jeremy wonders what they think they'll find. She tells him, that the length of stride, and side of prints may be pointing elsewhere.

Nick shows off his club to Logan and Pete. He hasn't had a stellar record, but the current spot looks like a hot mess time machine. He introduces his assistant Amanda, who will overhaul the place for them, and Karl Marsden is in the building.

Elena wants to go in alone, but Clay refuses to let that happen. Clay not only has a great plan, but tells he can control himself. She heads in.

Amanda talks Karl into putting out his cigar, and then he and Nick get down to it.

Elena heads into the club/rave. It's all club kids bouncing around, and boy does she look out of place as she scours the club for the mutt. But he sticks out like a sore thumb too, and she makes her way to him. He knows what she is, he can smell it. He loves the new power, she goes all rules, rules, rules on him. There is no remorse in him. She plays rough with him, and he can barely contain his wolf. She gets him to the bathroom before he can change in front of people, while Clay waits outside, Elena blocks the wolf from rampaging.

Karl has heard nothing about the Mutt so far. They want to know who's responsible for making him, and all Karl wants in return for his help is some good will from Jeremy and the pack.

Elena waits until the wolf no longer tries to break out of the door, but finds that he's broken out of the ceiling. He attacks one of the patrons, bites him before Elena can stop him, after everyone else tries to flee the club.

The sheriff can't understand why a wolf would attack a loud club. All of the officers move to intercept the beast.

Clay and Elena try to capture the wolf, as the cops arrive. The wolf makes it outside, and the sheriff takes a shot at it, but it doesn't go down until it gets hit by a car. Elena and Clay double back. The wolf is splattered to pieces. Elena and Clay go to find the wolf's victim. He's still alive. Clay examines him. He's a junky, and Clay suffocates him against Elena's protest. She tells him that he didn't have to kill him, but Clay tells her that he would have never survived the change and he saved him days of suffering.

Nick, Pete and Logan wonder if Karl will actually deliver. Jeremy calls them and tells them the good news, that Pete and Logan can go home, the Mutt is gone. Pete gives his brothers some love before leaving.

Elena apologizes to Clay, blaming herself. He tells her that its not her fault that the wolf could not control himself. But Elena says that they're weak together. Clay knows otherwise, that he needs her for more than just finding the mutt. Elena tells Jeremy that she's going home and she won't be coming back.

Elena makes it back to Toronto, to Philip. He's happy to have her home, very happy. He makes her dinner, and fails to mention their company, Logan and his girlfriend. She's surprised to see him, and quickly fills Logan on her cover story.

Antonio and Jeremy share a drink. Clay is restless with Elena's absence. They both thought that she would stay.

Logan's girlfriend asks too many question about family ties. Philip is overly curious too.

Antonio is worried about Karl. He and Nick set out to investigate him.

Elena asks Rachel how she and Logan are doing. She seems happy, but she's curious about the rest of the family, after having met Elena. Elena tells her that she felt like an outsider with the family. Inside, Philip asks Logan about Elena, about the hurt in her past. He tells him to just keep doing what he's doing. Logan answers a call from Clay on Elena's phone, its very bad news. Logan makes plans to leave immediately, he tells her they have to go back immediately.

Nick, Antonio, Jeremy and Clay have found Pete's body. It wasn't a fight, but a murder. He's been torn apart, and Clay can't identify the culprit's smell. There's a new killer mutt in town.
