Following the group's escape, they trap some a Vector which they intend to perform research on. Alan questions where the Vectors could have disappeared to and upon reaching an air vent, he comments that there is air coming up from below. Hatake tries to say that they are on the bottom level, but Daniel reveals that there is a level X on which Hatake has kept original core samples of the virus. Alan is furious to learn that the virus was created by Hatake, though he insists he was never going to deliver it. He says that without him, there would be billions of bodies. When they question after Sutton's whereabouts, Hatake says that she is no longer a problem. He warns that what's coming is far worse. Sutton was just the messenger and next up, an army will be sent that will not stop until they have the virus. Alan says they must go down and destroy the virus.

Julia questions Hatake about the photo of her as a young girl with him. Hatake reveals they have met before and that he knew her mother. He says that her mother was a mentor and a dear friend whom he visited several times in Montana. Julia wants to know why Hatake looks the same 30 years later but he merely states that he was a very young man. Clearly, we're not getting the whole story here. Julia says that it can't be a coincidence that she's her now with him at the base but Hatake doesn't offer an explanation.

Daniel pulls up security footage that shows the Vectors have all gathered on Level X. Hatake offers to go down but Alan refuses, saying he doesn't trust him. They notice all the Vectors swarming, exhibiting behaviour like bees. They're drawn to something, or someone. We then see the Vectors all spitting black goo into a cup which they pour into the mouth of the unconscious Peter, who wakes shortly after. He leaps up and the Vectors all stand before him mesmerised. For some reason, he is their fearless leader as a simply movement of his hands makes all of them kneel.

With the trapped Vector in a machine, Dr. Adrian releases some cold gas into it, temporarily paralysing the Vector. Dr. Adrian says that he doesn't have enough gas for Alan to release onto the lower level, but Alan says he won't need it. Dr. Adrian questions how he will lower the temperature enough to slow them down, saying that it needs to hit at least -40 degrees. Alan says it is -50 outside and he will bring some of the outside inside.

While locked up, Balleseros is all snark and cheek until he learns that Sutton has sent a kill squad after Anana. He looks mighty worried now.

Sarah's hands shake, likely as a result of her illness. Hatake gives Alan a gun but says that Julia will not need a weapon. They begin forming their plan to get downstairs and flood the base with outside air to freeze the Vectors. After they shut the power off, Sarah laments her impending death to Hatake and her lack of significant life accomplishments. Hatake appears concerned by her rambling. Alan and Julia keep track of the time before the heat will come back on. He says that if they're unsuccessful, they must burn the place to the ground. It would be a suicide mission. They reach Level X where the Vectors are frozen in place. They make their way through the sea of Vector statues into the vault where the samples are. They alarmed to find that there are far too many to go through with the limited time they have. Alan wants to just find the particular virus they're after but Julia wants to destroy them all, not wanting Illaria to have them in their possession.

Balleseros breaks out of his cell while the power is out.

Julia tells Hatake that death is a bright light of all the things she hasn't done and that she'll never have children. She begins to go into hypothermic shock, and Hatake become alarmed, having no choice but to turn the power back on.

Back in the vault, Alan continues to find every disease possible, including the Plague, and Julia finally finds the correct tube only to find that it is empty. Someone must have gotten to the virus sample before them. Alan's timer goes off and he says they have to go but Julia becomes frantic, wanting to keep looking. Outside, the Vectors are beginning to regain mobility and Alan insists that they have to go.

Balleseros is discovered to have broken out by Daniel, who catches him outside as he is about to escape. Balleseros tells him about the kill squad and when Daniel asks him why he cares, Balleseros says that at some point, it has to stop. He says that Daniel can shoot him, but he'll still go. Daniel teams up with him, and they set off for the village.

Julia tells Alan to keep going, as the Vectors more aggressively pursue him but ignore Julia. On the way out, she finds her initials carved near a vent in front of the door to Level X, which the Vectors are currently pounding on. She tells Alan she has to go down there and that she is starting to regain a repressed memory. He refuses to let her go alone and follows her down the vent. She finds what appears to be an exact replica of her Montana childhood cabin.

Balleseros and Daniel stop when they lose track of the trail. Anana sneaks up on them and they fill her in on the death squad headed for the village. She tells them that she saw five riders on three snowmobiles not long ago and they all set off for the village together.

Alan and Julia are confused as to why there would be an exact replica of the cabin and Julia struggles to decipher the answers to this mystery.

Balleseros, Daniel, and Anana reach the outskirts of the village where they see fifteen civilians being loaded onto a trailer. Anana wants to charge in but Balleseros and Daniel stop her, saying they need to think tactically if they want to be successful, since they are currently outmanned and outgunned. They send Anana in to be "caught" by the guards, and Daniel punches his twin - but it's all part of the plan.

Sarah is rambling and delirious, calling for Alan. She says that the surgery didn't work and that it was too close to the spinal chord. Hatake checks her back, just below her neck and finds a scar. HE carries her out.

Alan and Julia get out of the vent and find that the Vectors, led by Peter, have gotten out. Julia tells Alan to get behind her and stay close, as she stares them all down. She tells him to go upstairs, saying she will hold him back. They're able to get out, and Peter lets out an angry Vector shriek.

The soldiers prepare to light the trailer on fire. They give Daniel a weapon with which to kill his brother but the soldiers tell him not to shoot him in the head, in case the bodies are ever dug up and discovered. That is not what historians meant when advising people to learn from history. But then, Daniel turns and begins shooting soldiers, as do Balleseros and Anana, who had concealed weapons.

Alan asks Julia how she kept them off and she says that she has been different since her recovery but she cannot fully explain it. The vectors appear to have lost interest in her, but Alan replies that it's more so that they are afraid of her. They both have several questions and know that Hatake has the answers. When they reach him, he is still cradling Sarah. Hatake chides Alan for not knowing that she had a Grade 4 spinal tumour. She had a seizure 20 minutes prior. Alan prepares to take her to the ICU and when he tells Hatake that the virus is gone or perhaps was never there to begin with, Hatake says that that's impossible. Sarah rambles to Alan and reveals to Julia, who is present, that she and Alan slept together. Alan tries to apologise, but she say that it's fine since they are not together anymore.

Julia visits Hatake to question him further. He shows her the torn photograph half of her and Hatake which she had seen before and says it was one of the happiest days of his life. He then pulls out the other half of the photograph, which has Sarah's mother in it. When Sarah sees her mother, she realises that her hallucination of the woman who helped her while on the lower level (a few episodes ago), was  a vision of her mother. Hatake says that he has waited for this day for a long time but was afraid of rejection. He says he wanted Julia to know him and that it was never the right time. He says that the cabin was not a replica and that she never lived in Montana. When Julia questions who he is, Hatake removes his contact lenses before turning around to reveal his silver eyes. He then says, "You have your father's eyes." This is an unexpected turn of events, especially since you have an actress who doesn't look Japanese in the slightest playing a half-Japanese woman. (As a half-Japanese woman, I would know).

Daniel begins to bond with his brother and they relive some of the childhood memories they had before they were separated. Anana looks on in delight. Balleseros comes in and tries to warn them what's coming next but Anana notices that he is injured and insists on tending to his wound.

Helix airs on Fridays on Syfy at 10PM.

Anastacia and Job are doing a job but another alarm has gone off. While fleeing, they encounter Lucas who is shocked to see them but sends them off. Shortly afterwards, Deputy Lotus and Yawners meet Lucas, who tells them that he hasn't seen the perpetrators. Afterwards, Lucas meets with Anastacia and Job at Frankie's bar and questions them about their working as a duo. Anastacia argues with Lucas but eventually admits that the money was for Max. Lucas says he could have helped but Anastacia walks out.

Procotor meets with Alex Longshadow to discuss the fees he owes him while Rebecca sits outside playing with the strippers' jewellery. After Alex leaves, Proctor's right-hand man tells him that the explosion was caused by a cell phone detonator. Rebecca joins their room and Proctor tells her that Lucas caused the explosion but he doesn't seem too concerned with what he sees as small-time incidents. His second-hand man tells him that one of his slaughter houses lost power over the weekend and that the back-up generator had been disabled. All of the meat has gone bad and Proctor learns that someone hacked the server and shut down that particular area. Proctor's temper is rising and he exits his office with his man right behind him.

Proctor approaches Lucas in Frankie's bar and Lucas feigns ignorance about the explosion and the slaughterhouse. The stand-off is tense and little is said before Proctor angrily storms off. Frankie tells Lucas to warn him before he decides to kick things up a notch.

Things are still tense between Gordon and Deva, who has yet to forgive him for his neglect. He promises to do better but she appears unlikely to believe him until he proves himself.

Lucas and Siobhan re-visit the stripper who had previously given up information on Proctor and she says that she once saw some men putting crates into Proctor's basement. She doesn't know what was in them nor does she know anything about what's in the basement. She is concerned for her safety and tells them to leave before heading back inside. They don't have a warrant to get in there but it's likely Lucas will find a way to get in there nonetheless.

The skinheads from the previous episode harass Deputy Yawners' pregnant wife, questioning her on when she became a traitor to her race (she is white, Yawners is African-American). She smacks one when he refuses to leave her alone and he retaliates by punching her straight in the nose. She falls to the ground and another of the skinheads kicks her straight on the baby bump. The other skinheads chide him for the action (since when do skinheads have morals?) and they drive off. Witnesses approach her unconscious body and call 911.

Proctor questions Rebecca about Jason but she doesn't have anything to reveal except for his name being Jason. Proctor doesn't understand what could have caused Lucas to react so severely to his death. He says that Lucas is desperate and has nothing substantial to come after him with. Rebecca commends him for his restraint.

Deputy Yawners visits his wife as she is being wheeled in to surgery. He asks her what happened and she says that the men who attacked her had shaved heads, tattoos, and knew him. She says she is scared before she is brought in for surgery. Deputy Locus and Siobhan warn him to not go after the skinheads, saying that they will go after them instead. They remind him that his wife needs him and Siobhan tells him it will be okay.

Lucas sneaks into Proctor's place to have a look around in the basement and finds multiple guns and other weapons, along with some files and religious relics. Rebecca catches him as he's headed out, but when she doesn't do or say anything, Lucas simply leaves in peace. Lucas tells Menning, the ADA, he has a witness who won't come forward and testify, and he tries to get a warrant issued.

Lucas returns to the station as the deputies have just brought in the skinheads and locked them up. Lucas is told about Yawners' wife being in the hospital and is understandably angered by the news. He tells the deputies that after they have booked the skinheads, he needs them to help him raid Proctor's place - he has been issued the warrant.

When they arrive at Proctor's place, Lucas "discovers" the hidden room behind the wine cellar and Proctor throws a fit. He is restrained by the other officers present and is promptly arrested for having numerous weapons without permits. Proctor tells Lucas he is "fucking dead," and Lucas looks smug from this victory.

Yawners is told his wife is going to be okay but she has lost the fetus.

Proctor seeks to find a way to either bribe or threaten the ADA but his lawyer advises him that their best option is to attack the legitimacy of the warrant and their C.I.'s claim to have seen the weapons. Rebecca, who is sitting in on this meeting, says Juliet's name. After the lawyer steps out, Proctor send his right-hand-man out to kill her.

Lucas visits Yawners and tells him that the skinheads are currently locked up in custody. He says that they will not get away with this and also informs him that Proctor has been arrested. Yawners' wife wakes and he goes in the room to see her. He tells her that she's going to be fine and she correctly guesses that she has lost the baby. He tries to reassure her but she ends up reassuring him, saying that this is only a test. He reassures her that it's going to be okay, before heading back to the station.

Lucas visits Alex Longshadow to tell him of Proctor's arrest, and also informs him that he has a substantial amount of information on Alex's tribal casino. He offers to help him get Proctor out his business, in exchange for his helping Lucas with the case against him. Alex has always wanted to keep things quiet, but he agrees with Lucas that he's been in the dark long enough.

Yawners brings out various weapons from the evidence locker. He beats up two of the skinheads using both a candlestick and his own brute strength and the lead skinhead (though not the one that kicked her) tells him that they've had enough. Yawners puts on a pair of brass knuckles and tells the other skinhead, who says he's neither ignorant nor sorry, that if he can get past him, he can go free. A brutal fight ensues and the skinhead appears very close to death.

Siobhan berates Lucas for lying to get the warrant and that it has put their careers and Julia's life in danger. Lucas tells her she can ask any questions she wants but they're interrupted by a phone call from Brock. They head down to the station where they find the injured skinheads, who are sent off to the hospital. The deputies aren't angry with Yawners, but are concerned about the consequences he'll have to face. Lucas tries to tell him he didn't know what he was doing but Yawners says that he knew exactly what he was doing. He says he's dealt with guys like this his whole life and that he had gotten good at bearing it but this was the time he couldn't let it go. He says if he could go back, he would do it again and again even though he knows that it's a sin. He questions what type of Christian this makes him. He reveals that when his wife first got pregnant, his internal reaction was a question of how they could raise a kid in a town like this, where all the good inevitably gets swallowed up by the bad. Yawners turns in his badge and name tag.

Hannibal is back, everyone! And what better way to begin than with some cooking from our favourite cannibal leading into a fantastically choreographed fight between Hannibal and Jack, who... knows? Just when it seems that Jack has managed to strangle Hannibal to death with his tie, Hannibal takes a shard of glass and stable Jack right in the neck. It appears as though Jack's done for as he scurries back into the wine closet, locking the door behind him. Hannibal begins body-slamming the door repeatedly, ready to finish him off and this is when we learn that this is not a dream - it's a glimpse into the future.

12 weeks earlier, Hannibal has prepared some Kaiseki for Jack. He can't quite place the fish upon tasting it and Hannibal replies, "He was a flounder." I'm sure he was, Hannibal. I'm sure he was. They are mourning Will's being placed behind bars and Jack feels personally responsible. Hannibal says that Jack must investigate Hannibal, for appearances' sake of course, but neither of them appear to be concerned about the outcome of it.

Behind bars, Will has a vision of himself fishing in the forest and sees the swiggity-swag-nightmare-stag. Will is brought out of his daydream where a psychiatrist is questioning him on "how that makes him feel." He is relatively polite but says that he wants to speak to Doctor Lecter.

Alana has filed a report against Jack of misconduct. The FBI admin (Cynthia Nixon) points out that there is a desire to make all of this go away quickly and quietly and tries to get Alana retract her report. Alana and Jack are not on bad terms, as Jack understands her concerns for Will.

At a dam, some public workers stumble across several dead bodies. The poor men look highly traumatised by the experience but this is a welcome moment for the Fannibals who have been counting down for this incredible show to make its return.

Hannibal has a session with Dr. Du Maurier, where he tells her Will has asked to see him. Hannibal is keen on seeing him again and even admits that he misses him. Du Maurier tells Hannibal he is obsessed with Will, and Will will take advantage of that. Hannibal states that Will is his friend and that he admires Will's inability to hide who he is. Hannibal finally visits Will, who promises that he will figure out what he has done to him and that there will be a day or reckoning.

Hannibal surrenders his DNA and suits for the FBI to investigate him. For all intensive purposes, he is the new Will Graham, having taken over Will's responsibility of psychologically profiling murder cases. When visiting the crime scene of the bodies found earlier, Hannibal notes that the bodies have been injected with silicone, among other things, and that the killer was making models. The fact that these bodies were discarded means that these were his imperfect discards.

Hannibal has signed a document allowing Dr. Du Maurier permission to share whatever she wants with the FBI. Hannibal tells her about his visit with Will, saying that he looked into Will's eyes and saw death. She asks why he is inviting the scrutiny of the FBI and points out that he is maintaining an air of transparency while putting her in a position to life for him... again. He replies that she's not just lying for him and they share a knowing look. She asks how far this will go and he says that Jack is not suspicious of him. She replies that Jack doesn't know what he's capable of. Hannibal replies, "Neither do you," and she appears shaken.

Alana has been looking after Will's dogs and visits him when he's locked up. She doesn't believe that the Will Graham before him is capable of such violence and he says he is certain he has heard Hannibal's voice inside his head. His psychiatrist from earlier, Frederick, listens in on their conversation from his office. Will asks for Alan's help in recovering some memories. The treatment involves a lit-up metronome and some hypnosis, where Will sees Alan as covered in black paint before she turns to paint. While under, he sits at a long table covered in a messy feast. At the other end of the table, the Swiggity-Stag sits and in front of him, is a plate with a human ear on it. He jolts awake and says that it isn't working. Alana asks him what he saw but he doesn't share the answer.

Frederick visits Hannibal, who has prepared him a meal without meat (gasp). Apparently Frederick lost a kidney and must now watch his protein intake. They discuss Will and Frederick shares the fact that Will attempted to recover memories. Frederick tells him that Will speaks of him incessantly, saying Hannibal is a monster, and Hannibal jokes to Frederick that he is dining with a psychopathic murderer. Oh hardy har har.

We see from the perspective of this episode's murderer as he stalks his victims before baiting them so they may be captured. He then injects them with dyes, silicones, preservatives, and heroine. The FBI notes that the victims are sealed with a resin shell. The victims appear to be random as they don't have anything in common regarding their ethnicity, gender, location, etc.

The forensics tech Beverly visits Will and brings the file on this episode's killer. She seems to know that Will is still of value in finding this killer and asks for his help. She goes over the killer's method of capturing them but wants to know how the victims are chosen. She has photos of the recovered bodies and spreads them out on the table. Will begins arranging them in a particular order and then shows that the victims comprise a colour palate.

Will is brought his generic dinner, complete with plastic silverware. After taking a bite of the Salisbury steak, he has a memory of Hannibal snaking some plastic tubing down his throat and then sending Abigail's ear down.

Jack visits Will's old home, and Will's dog Winston meets him on the porch. Alana shows up shortly after, as Winston has developed a habit of running back to Will's home. Jack says he understands why Alana filed the report and says that it will help Will's case in the long run since it is now on record. She tells him that Will is fixated on Hannibal's being guilty so he won't have to face the horrors of the crimes he committed. She says that even though Will is terrified, he hasn't stopped trying to find the truth.

Will is visited by Jack. When Will tells him he has recovered a memory, Jack says that it is meaningless. Will says that it's not meaningless to him. Jack says that they have investigated Hannibal thoroughly and have found nothing. Will tells him, "I am not the intelligent psychopath you're looking for." Jack leaves but Will tells him that though he may not believe him now, he will.

Back at the killer's lair, the victim from his episode wakes and finds himself sewn into a mass of dead bodies and lets out a scream.

Oooh Reign was out for a little while on a hiatus, and they took that chance to add some major sexy to their intro.

Clarissa is still lurking around the castle with the bag on her head, looking through her mother’s things. She finds some locks of hair from all the family members, when she’s interrupted by a maid getting busy with some nobleman, and Clarissa watches.

Mary missed her morning ride with Bash. She’s been worried again, far too tenderhearted as usual. This time she worries about the princes, should Bash be legitimized then they will no longer be princes. She wants to take the boys to a nearby town to enjoy their day. On the carriage ride in, the boys are spotted, and the villagers go mad at the sight of Medici Princes.

The maid stumbles upon Clarissa, and she kills her.

Mary tells Catherine about the incident. She knows that when Bash is legitimized that the boys will be in more danger. That Henry will be busy with his new bride, that she will lose her head, that the boys will be orphans. Should that all come to pass Mary tells her that she will raise the boys as her own, that she never intended to hurt Catherine’s family, that she is doing all of this to save Francis. She even tells her that she wishes to help Clarissa, that Clarissa helped her. Catherine bitterly tells her that Clarissa is more animal than anything else, that she should be put down.

Clarissa watches her brothers play, upset that even her mask is broken. Nothing about her is right. She pulls a lock from her own head, and wraps a ribbon around it, like the rest of the locks in Catherine’s box. Someone is about to take a jaunt into crazytown.

Bash and Mary go to Lord Hugo to see how to keep the biys safe. Hugo has suddenly change sides, and remains as ruthless as ever, going so far as to hint that the death of the boys would be his best option. He tells them that sooner or later blood will be spilled, and that none of them are safe. Bash knows that what Hugo says is true, that they should be sent away for their safety. Mary points out that she was sent to a nunnery and was not safer. Bash wishes to give them a chance to grow up without fear, but Mary forbids him from forcing away, willing to use her title to get her way. Not exactly the way to handle things with the man you plan to spend your life with.

Lola goes to find her brother in a den of sin. She gives the proprietor money for her brother’s release, but the money is not enough. She offers more money, but he wants something more. He wants into the lovely Lola’s skirts.

Nostradamus comes to visit Catherine, Bible in hand. He tells her to seek absolution for her sins, making a big scene in front of her guards. She wishes for death, even by her own hands, and tells him to leave if he will not help her. He leaves the book for her.

It’s snowing, and Francis has quite the surprise. Since the boys were not able to go the village and enjoy the frost, he brings the children to them so that they can have a normal life. Mary is quite pleased with Bash’s thoughtfulness.

The proprietor makes it clear that he wants nothing more than for a chance to have Lola, something that only noblemen have a chance with. In walks Francis, he offers four times the debt for the girl all on a cut of the cards. Francis loses the first cut, and offers to double it. The proprietor taunts him to sixteen times the amount, and Francis willingly takes the bet. The proprietor draws a queen, but Francis comes out on top with a King, and wins the girl. He and Lola quickly make their getaway.

Kenna agrees with mary about having the princes stay home, and even Greer cannot argue as they watch the boys play. The pair notice a man lurking in the shadows, but then Henry falls. Kenna goes to help him up and finds that it is not the prince at all. Bash orders all the children to remove their masks, and they find that the princes are gone. Mary barks out orders to find boys, but it was all a ruse on Bash’s part. He had them “kidnapped” so he could get them out of the city. The man that Kenna and Greer spotted was detained, he has planned to kill the boys, wanting all Medici’s to die.

The boys are taken from their wagon hiding place, but they weren’t the only thing smuggled out of the castle. Clarissa followed the boys. Henry asks why she’s wearing the driver’s cloak, and she tells them that they’re going to be a family from now on.

Lola thanks Francis for saving her. She’s chased after her brother all over the countryside, bailing him out. Francis understands both sides. He understands being adrift, and being betrayed by a brother he loved. He knows that Mary believed she was trying to save his life, and that Bash had his own reasons as well. Lola tells him that he was lucky to have escaped the court, and that his heart will mend eventually.

The guard struggles to open Catherine’s cell and Nostradamus helps him to break down the door. Once inside they find Catherine has hung herself. Nostradamus prompts the guard into action. He takes Catherine away to revive her, telling the man that Henry wanted her death to be a spectacle. The hanging was a ruse, luckily the item Nostradamus hid in the Bible held her weight. She prepares to leave, but Nostradamus breaks the news that the princes are missing, but assures her that Bash is looking for them. Catherine is not going to runaway when the boys are missing.

Mary learns of that the boys are missing, and she’s even more angry with Bash. He tells her that there was a body hidden in the passage way near the queen’s chambers, and they were found with Catherine’s box of locks. Catherine surprises Mary, and Mary puts the pieces together, seeing Clarissa’s lock of hair wrapped around the boys’. Catherine asks if Bash’s tracking skills are as good as Francis always said, and Mary has to agree they are. The two women team up to get Bash and find the boys before Clarissa does something that cannot be undone.

Lola wakes in Francis’s arms. She stumbles about mumbling about wine and late night talking. She thanks him for his help. And he thanks her for treating him like a normal person. He feels emptiness over all of his life’s privileges. She feels the same, being rich and pampered is hard work. He kisses her, and she worries about Mary and his feelings for her. He tells her there is nothing between him and Mary any longer, and the two quickly jump into bed. So much for loving Mary, his broken heart was mended far too quickly.

Bash and the group catch up with where the Driver was last with the boys. He tells Catherine that if the boys are not the perfect picture of health that he’ll be the one that needs to be restrained. Mary finds one of Henry’s mittens, and Mary, Bash and Catherine goes after the boys. Clarissa plans to have the boys drown themselves, telling them to fill their pockets with rocks and then they’ll go swimming. Mary, Bash and Catherine find the boys before they can carry out Clarissa’s plan. Henry gets away, but Charles is caught by Clarissa and held at knife point. Mary tries to reason with her, but she does not listen to her, and even Catherine tries to. Mary is forced to take matters into her own hands when Clarissa gets rough with Charles, and smashes her over the head with a rock.

Clarissa is gone, and Catherine has to go back to her cell. She tells the princes that Mary will take good care of them. Mary finally understands that Catherine was out of the tower before she knew of the boys’ disappearance, that she gave up her chance of freedom to make sure they were found. Catherine tells her that she has her to thank for all of her boys’ lives, and thanks her for killing Clarissa, that she’s in a better place now, and her mother will join her soon enough.

Bash saw to the boys getting settled in. He tells her that there will be more guards around the boys, and that they will keep them close to protect them. Mary isn’t angry over his failed attempt to send them away, in fact it’s made her realize something else. Safe choices don’t make them safe. Mary tells Bash that she wants him to marry her today. Waiting has given them nothing, and by getting married now it forces the Pope’s hand to legitimize him. He tells her that she could be stuck with a landless husband, but she doesn’t care, it’s a chance she’s willing to take. He turns her down, and shows her the correct way to propose, and every Bash loving heart leaps for joy. Mary happily accepts.

Lola and Francis prepare their goodbyes thinking that they’ll never see each other again. The proprietor chimes in, telling her to deliver a message for him. He wants a coin thrown back at the queen, knowing that she’ll be beheaded soon. He tells Lola that if she returns the coin with the queen’s blood on it he’ll give her a fortune in game play. Francis asks Lola if she knew of the Kings plan to execute the Queen for infidelity, and Lola tells him she had no clue. Francis thought he would never return to his father’s court, but he can’t let him execute the queen, hmmm, things are about to get awkward when Francis returns with Lola.

Two guardsmen fail to bury Clarissa, not wanting to bother fighting against the cold frozen ground to dig a grave. They throw her body down the hill, thinking that its good enough. Of course it’s not good enough, and like any good villain she’ll be back.

Vikings finally comes back tonight, and the second season promises to be just  as intense as the previous one. The forces of King Horik and Jarl Borg are set in motion to meet over a simple dispute, and Ragnar still has no clue which side his brother Rollo's allegiance lies. This promises to be a very bloody start.

Ragnar does not believe that Rollo would betray him, but Floki points out that he does not need a reason to betray him to do it. Rollo is preforming unspeakable acts as Ragnar waits, unaware that he is doing just that. The horn sounds, and Ragnar sees with a line of warriors set against him that Floki was right all along.

Rollo is all chummy with the enemy, and Ragnar sends a rider out to him. One Eye delivers a message to Rollo, speaking of brotherhood, and letting him know that it's not too late. Rollo tells him that he shall answer with blood, gauntlet thrown, the two factions line up prepared to clash. It's to be brother against brother. Rollo is an utter brute as expected, but Ragnar's forces are no slouches. It's a violent and blood affair as the two sides meet head on with spears and axes in hand. Floki goes to meet Rollo head on, and in the end, he fights against his once friend with Jarl Borg. The pair team up and bring Floki down, but One Eye comes to his rescue. He's forced to take up a spear against the much larger Rollo, and Rollo disarms him, and drives his weapon through him. Seeing Rollo's disgusting display, Ragnar faces his own brother. But Rollo cannot bring himself to kill his own, and he drops his weapon, falling upon his knees. His act of surrender ends the battle. An offer of profits is given by King Horik to end the war, but Jaral Borg refuses it. Ragnar is tired of the petty disputes, why fight over this small bit of land, when they could seek land out west. That offer is accepted, and Ragnar throws Gyda's death in Rollo's face.

The men return home, but it's not a happy reunion for all. Ragnar reports to his family, Siggy and Athelstan that One Eye died, and that Floki may as well. Lagertha sees that it was his choice that lead to this. Ragnar will not take the whole blame though. And worse, she asks him who Aslaug is. Ragnar wants to know what Bjorn has told her, and he doesn't want to air his dirty laundry. Lagertha flies off the handle, and dishes go ying in private. Ragnar admits that he had sex with Princess Aslaug once, and he asks how to make it up to her. She tells him not to see him again, and he easily agrees to his wife's request.

Bjorn wonders why things are so turbulent between his parents all the time, and Ragnar tells him its not an easy thing. He asks about Rollo, but a committee will decide his fate. Ragnar distracts his son with an English coin.

Siggy goes to visit Rollo, but he's closed off, unwilling to open up to her. Rollo prepares for his sentence. All expected that Rollo would have died in battle, would have been killed for his betrayal. When he fell upon his knees and asked for his brother's mercy, the Gods let him live, and so he shall.

Rollo meets his brother on the docks. He wanted to step out of his brother's shadow, thought he could. Siggy finds Rollo packing and preparing to leave. He's betrayed everyone and there was no point in staying. She's hurt that he was going to leave without saying goodbye to her. He has nothing to offer her, and yet, she wants him no less. He believes it would have been better for everyone if he had been executed, but Siggy sees that this second chance is the Gods' gift, his chance for redemption, for Valhalla.

Ragnar comes to say a proper goodbye to his daughter, Gyda, who he lost too soon. His heart breaks with her loss, and his world becomes a little more dark. He falls asleep upon the beach , awoken by his son when a ship arrives. It is Princess Aslaug and she is heavy with child, the shit is about to hit the fan, so much for promises. His wife is not pleased to hear of her arrival, and Ragnar tries to assure her that he did not ask for her to come. Seeing Aslaug pregnant does not please her one bit, there will be no getting rid of Aslaug so easily now. At dinner Lagertha tries to get to know the princess, who seems to come from a very famous lineage, and is very boastful. Lagertha is equally proud of her heritage and does not make apologies from coming from a line of farmers. The princess tries to point out her time she spent with the Bjorn, but he doesn't want any bond with her. Oooh Lagertha looks pissed, and its not likely the dishes that take the brunt of her anger. Ragnar doesn't look too thrilled to be between the women, nor should he with his very fiery wife who has every reason to be pissed.

Bjorn doesn't understand why Ragnar does not make Aslaug leave, but she's carrying his child so he will not. Ragnar points out that Bjorn is too serious a child, and the right thing does not always mean happiness.

Lagertha worries over Aslaug's arrival. She knew of Ragnar's infidelity, but she was not prepared for a baby. The woman is clearly different from the rest of them, and that worries her too.

Bjorn and Ragnar visit Floki, luckily he's still alive. Floki must get stronger, there are boats to be made, and places to visit. Floki regains enough strength to join the group for dinner. Aslaug prepares a meal, and Lagertha is taken by surprise. Lagertha admits that she did not think that Aslaug could cook, and she admits that she cannot. Ragnar thinks to bring the women together to form a happy little household, but although Aslaug agrees that she thinks it could work, Lagertha looks like anything but compliant. In bed Ragnar tells Lagertha that she must accept Aslaug because of his child, but that's the last think that she wants. She's not the kind of girl who's willing to play second fiddle, or share what is hers.

Lagertha prepares for a lengthy journey. Floki and Arne seem surprised that she would actually go, and Arne tries to convince Bjorn to remain with his father. Lagertha leaves the choice in the child's hand, and he breaks her heart choosing his father. Siggy embraces her for the last time, and she leaves. Ragnar arrives unaware that his wife has left. He chases after her cart, angered that she is abandoning him. His insult is too much, and divorce her only option. Bjorn catches up to them, and he too has decided to leave. Ragnar may have won the battle, but he just lost the war, everything he sought so hard to protect is now gone. Ragnar returns home to his princess and his cold empty home.

Don't count Lagertha out though. She may have left, but she's not gone, Princess Aslaug should sleep with one eye open.

Professor Duncan asks for Jeff's help to seduce Britta. Jeff tells him to feign interest in social activist causes. At the study group, Duncan announces there's an event going on for starving children with cleft palates but then the entire group wants to come and show their support, thus throwing a wrench in his plans to be alone with Britta.

Abed accidentally gets foam all over Hickey's comics and Hickey decides to give him a dose of reality by handcuffing him to a cabinet, making him miss the plans he had to see a film. Abed is frequently coddled by the groups around him and he has yet to learn about the consequences of his actions.

Jeff comes to realise he still has feelings for Britta and become competitive with Duncan. Britta becomes self-conscious around her old anarchist friends. When she realises she doesn't have their approval, Duncan halts his attempts to seduce her. He gives her a ride home, during which she reminds him that he and Jeff have been friends longer than anyone.

Chang's storyline about ghosts is a bit random, but Ken Jeong delivers solid comedy as usual. This episode highlights certain character's vulnerabilities and delivers baby steps for personal growth. It's a nice change of pace to mix things up a bit but hopefully more mad shenanigans unique to Community will be delivered in the upcoming episode(s).

Bernadette suggests Leonard and Howard get a dining room table to accommodate the larger number of people in their group. Sheldon strongly objects to the idea since he's not fond of change. Later, Howard shows Raj his new magic wand TV remote. Howard gets a call from NASA offering him a second trip up to space. Raj jokes that if anything happens to him, he'll name his and Bernadette's firstborn after him. At the furniture store, Penny coaches him on standing up to Sheldon and not letting him boss him around. When Howard tells Bernadette about his impending second trip to space, she is surprised since she feels he did nothing but complain during the first trip.

When Penny and Leonard bring the new table home, Sheldon hates it and wants to get rid of it. Sheldon begins to blame Penny for changing Leonard, Penny points out that all relationships change people, such as Sheldon being changed by Amy. When Sheldon realises that Amy has made him a more affectionate, open-minded person, he heads to her place to break up with her. Penny calls Amy to let her know of his plans. When Sheldon attempts to break up with Amy, she acts as if it doesn't bother her and tells Sheldon that Leonard is trying to distract him from the new table by sewing discourse into his and Amy's relationship. She makes him think that Leonard has manipulated him and says she is relieved she won't have to see the hideous new table. Sheldon is amazed that she had intended to stand behind him on the table issue. When he questions whether or not she is manipulating him, she says that he would be smart enough to see if she was. Oh Amy, you clever woman.

Bernadette asks Raj if it's bad that she doesn't think it's a good idea for him to go up to space. She points out how miserable he was in space and Raj says that he's simply forgotten about it. Sheldon and Amy return to the apartment and Sheldon scolds Leonard and Sheldon for trying to change his environment which is perfect the way it is. Leonard replies that Sheldon's Spot exists on a couch that Leonard bought so all change cannot be bad. Amy tries to suggest that Sheldon move in with her, leading Sheldon to relent on the issue of the table.

Bernadette and Raj stage an intervention for Howard. They tell him that he was miserable the whole time he was in space but the final straw is when they tell him he'll have to go through survival training again. When Howard has his medical, he fakes having too high of blood pressure by calling his mother during the test.

During dinner, Sheldon and Amy continue to eat dinner in the living room. He guilt trips the others by saying that he prefers to eat in the living room because it's the way things have always been done. Leonard points out that Sheldon is just being a baby but when the group relents and joins him back in the living room, Sheldon tells Leonard that sometimes the baby wins.

The Big Bang Theory airs on Thursdays on CBS at 8PM.

One of our favorite shows has finally learned its fate for the upcoming season. It's been renewed for a fifth season! Notacibly missing from the release is the mention of Fan-favorite Kenzi (Ksenia Solo), which is hopefully just for the sake of keeping the mystery of the upcoming storyline, becuse really the show isn't the same without her. Now we just need to hear of Syfy's continual showing for US audiences. Check out the press release below.  

Press Release: Showcase has greenlit a fifth season of its hit Canadian original series, Lost Girl for 13 episodes. The homegrown hit series starring Anna Silk begins production on season five this spring and is set to air Fall 2014.

Since premiering in 2010, Lost Girl has solidified itself as a ratings powerhouse for Showcase. Season four was the #1 ranked program on the channel across multiple key demos and ranked in the Top 20 of all Canadian Specialty Programs for Fall 2013 (A25-54 and W25-54, excluding sports)*. It continues to rank in the Top 20 of all Canadian Specialty Programs (A25-54) in Winter/Spring 2014**.

“Rooted in folklore and mythology, Lost Girl has inspired a passionate and dedicated fan following with its deeply engaging characters, richly imagined universe and boundary-pushing storylines,” said Barbara Williams, Senior Vice President, Content, Shaw Media. “We’re looking forward to season five building on the exciting and fantastical plotlines.”

Lost Girl follows supernatural seductress Bo (Silk), a tough yet loveable Succubus who feeds off sexual energy. Since realizing she is part of the Fae, creatures of legend and folklore who live among humans, Bo has resisted choosing an allegiance to either the Dark or Light Fae clans. Instead, she has forged her own path between the human and Fae worlds, while embarking on a mission to unlock the secrets of her origin.

Throughout the fourth season Bo was plagued by memory loss that left her with more questions than answers, especially upon learning of her inexplicable decision to officially join the Dark Fae. The season’s emotional journey exposed Bo and her friends to new loves, heartbreaking losses and shocking betrayals, all leading to the season finale that saw her battle a darkness within herself.

Also returning to the cast are series stars Kris Holden-Ried (The Tudors, Underworld: Awakening) as Light Fae shape-shifter Dyson, Zoie Palmer (The Guard, Instant Star) as human doctor Lauren, Rick Howland (Billable Hours, Murdoch Mysteries) as Bo’s ancient and secretive grandfather Trick and Rachel Skarsten (The Vow, Flashpoint) as Valkyrie warrior Tamsin. Returning guest stars include Paul Amos (Sex After Kids, Murdoch Mysteries) and Emmanuelle Vaugier (Two and a Half Men, Covert Affairs).
