Teen Wolf S4E2 - "117" Recap
Young Derek is having trouble controlling his transformation. Young Peter tells him to hold an object with the triskelion on it and chant, "Alpha, Beta, Omega."
Jumping forward, Kate is also having trouble with her werejaguar transformation in a gas station restroom. Unable to control it and with anyone there to help her, she ends up attacking the man who works at the station.
The gang brings young Derek to Dr. Deaton. He doesn't have any clue what's happening so for now, they just have to wait until he wakes up before figuring out what to do next. Lydia decides to stay and look after him and Stiles objects, not wanting to leave her but Scott drags him off.
Scott arrives home and finds his dad waiting for him. He stays there when Scott's mother is working a night shift. Agent McCall is trying to have some father-son bonding but things are still awkward and slightly tense.
Deaton finds that young Derek's pulse is unusually fast and he tries cutting him and finds that he is healing unusually fast. Young Derek wakes up, confused, and attacks Deaton before running out.
Stiles tells Scott about his relationship with Malia, which has come out of completely nowhere. He feels guilty about not telling her that Peter is her birth father. But Malia already has enough to worry about, like catching up in school.
Scott and Stiles are called to Deaton's place. The working theory is that Derek isn't just physically younger, but has no memories of his older life. They rightfully assume he'll try going back to his house since he wouldn't remember the fire. He goes and finds it torn down. Police officers show up to tell him he is trespassing. Things get violent and then they tase him.
Young Derek is brought into the police station. They check his fingerprints and only the older photo of Derek comes up. Sheriff Stilinski comes in and somehow manages to realise that it is Derek, without fully understanding why or how. It's then that Scott and Stiles show up and help fill in the blanks, but not before he asks if time travelling is real.
Scott and Stiles tell young Derek what has happened and convince him to lay low while they figure out how to return him to normal. Scott chooses to lie about the fate of his family but feels tremendous guilt about it.
Lydia and Kira pull up to get gas but when Kira realises that Lydia's car doesn't actually need gas, Lydia has already found a dead body and it's the man Kate had attacked at the beginning of the episode. The scene looks like something straight out of Saw.
Malia shows up to accompany Scott while he talks with Peter. She says he'll be better protected with her there. Peter is meeting his daughter for the first time but she has no idea why Peter is so amazed to see her, momentarily at least. They have a bit of a sass-off and then Peter learns about Kate coming back to life.
Young Derek and Stiles have dinner with Agent McCall and Stiles is awkwardly trying to keep McCall from learning that Derek isn't actually his cousin from Mexico and Derek from learning the fate of his family. Unfortunately, Derek learns the truth about his family. Derek wants to speak to Scott so Stiles leaves him alone for a moment, promising to call scott. But true to form, Kate arrives and steals him away.
Peter is able to figure out that Kate changing Derek to that age is because he both knew and trusted her at that age. After learning about and receiving photos of the gas station murder, Peter informs the group that Kate wants the triskelion to help her control her transformation. Derek takes Kate to the vault under the school and Peter, Malia, and Scott are following after them. But they run into a new type of monster to face: Berzerkers. Peter pulls Malia back from fighting, saying that with there being only one right now, they can actually get out of there alive. They take off running while Derek recovers the Triskelion. More Bezerkers show up and Scott and Malia are cornered.
Peter gets to Kate and Derek, telling her that the Triskelion doesn't have powers and was merely something for Derek to focus on, like training wheels. Young Derek hears Scott fighting the Berzerkers and runs off to help. Stiles and Lydia arrive, with Stiles wielding a baseball bat. Finally, Kira joins the fight, katana in hand. Kira ends up knocked down quickly but then Derek comes and begins fighting the two Berzerkers.
Peter is still explaining to Kate that Derek gave up using the Triskelion when he learned to use anger to control himself. He challenges Kate to get angry but then smoke bombs are thrown down into the vault. Kate gets away and Derek begins to transform back into his normal self while still fighting the Berzerkers. A roar is heard and the Berzerkers follow after it. Derek is an adult again but his wolf eyes are now gold instead of blue.
Someone goes into the vault while Peter is still incapacitated from the smoke. He tells them to wait as they make off with a briefcase full of bearer bonds. Stiles and Lydia arrive and ask how much was stolen. Peter says it was $117 million.
Teen Wolf airs on Mondays on MTV at 10PM.
Beauty and the Beast S2E21 - "Operation Fake Date" Recap
Vincent and Cat are dressed in disguises: a platinum blonde wig, baby carriage, and moustache. They meet with Knox, who says he can only get Vincent's murder charges dropped if he turns himself in to police to keep up appearances.
Tess and Gabe run into Cat's old high school friend Beth, the reporter who has been trying to track down Cat and Vincent. She's also been in touch with Gabe, who wants her to write a story that exposes Vincent.
Cat decides on a course of action: tell Gabe to call Beth off and then Vincent will turn himself in. He agrees to do it only if she goes on a date with him and be open to the possibility of getting back together. Vincent is unhappy to learn this part of the deal but he can't exactly control what Cat does. Cat asks Heather to help him with the speech he'll be giving at the press conference when he surrenders, since she is a working publicist and it will keep his mind busy while she is on her date.
Vincent wants to trail Cat and Gabe but JT and Heather tell him it's a bad idea. He wants to go anyway until JT pulls out a tranquilliser gun, threatening to shoot him if he steps out.
Gabe has taken Cat to a cake decorating class. He keeps trying to apologise and Cat has to pretend to be "open" through the whole thing. At the end of it all, Gabe drops Cat off and once inside, she tells the group how the fake date went. Gabe realises that he has her cake instead of his and goes up to the apartment to bring it to her but he overhears everything.
Vincent gives his press conference and during it, Beth asks about his altered DNA and the super soldier experiments. Cat realises that Gabe overheard her talk about playing him and that he has gone back on the agreement about calling off Beth. Vincent privately tells Knox that the questions were true and that he needs to be put in a solitary cell.
Cat invites Beth to Heather's bachelorette party to give her all the facts. He explains how Gabe is the spurned ex and that trying to keep Vincent incarcerated is just a ploy so he can get her back. Tess also says that Gabe kidnapped Heather. Heather is mad that she tries to bring it up on her special night.
Vincent is taken from Knox's custody and he is given some tests. Vincent thinks the men running the tests work for Knox but Knox thinks that Vincent has escaped custody. Eventually, he realises they're not working for Knox. He gets into another room and finds a surveillance feed of Gabe's apartment where Cat has just showed up. Vincent is furious, beasts out, and is tranquillised. Cat and Gabe argue. Cat says that Gabe is to blame for Vincent being taken and Gabe throws a whiny entitled-male speech about knowing and wanting what's best for her. The fight escalates and becomes physical. Cat unleashes a can of whoop-ass and then it's lights out for Gabe. It doesn't look like she hit him hard enough to kill but he's not looking so good.
Vincent convinces his captors to let him go temporarily to "take care of" Gabe for them, since he deduces that they're planning on killing him anyway. He gets to Gabe's apartment and finds Cat trying to revive him. Cat says that Gabe doesn't have a pulse and Vincent decides to help, for Cat's sake. JT arrives, since Cat called him, and Vincent also uses his doctor skills to figure out what's wrong with him. He wasn't dead, but close to it. Vincent comforts Cat, reassuring her it's okay for her to lose her cool sometimes and that it's not her responsibility to fix everyone's problems.
Beth makes up with Tess and Heather and admits that she was in fact traumatised by her first Beast encounter and decides against writing a piece on Beasts.
Vincent gets a call from Knox saying that he's been exonerated thanks to the agents who had let him go from their initial captivity. It's still unknown who exactly they are. Cat and JT warn Gabe that if he tries to do anything to ruin how good things are now, she will expose everything he has done, including kidnapping Heather. She also tells him the good man she once knew is gone.
Vincent takes Knox to the room where he had been held and they find that it is empty. He has a flashback in which he realises they took a vial of his blood while he was passed out.
Tess and JT go to check on Gabe and find that he has injected himself with Beast serum and run off into the night.
Cat has started reading the journal of a woman who once had been involved with her own beast but she had to kill them. Vincent distracts her from it with sexy bonding.
Gabe meets with Beth, whom he had promised to give the serum to. He says he doesn't have it and she says she isn't going to do the story anyway. She says she doesn't believe Beasts exist and he says they do, and that tomorrow, everyone will believe it too. She asks what that means and he Beasts out, ripping her heart out.
Beauty and the Beast airs on Mondays on the CW at 9PM.

SYNOPSIS | Jacob Goodnight (WWE superstar “Kane”) fell to his apparent demise from high atop the Blackwell Hotel in See No Evil, and this terrifying sequel picks up where the last one left off. With Jacob's body lying on a cold sub-basement slab in the city morgue, Amy (Danielle Harris), a mortician, is surprised when a group of friends pay her a late-night visit for her birthday. See No Evil 2 is directed by the notorious Soska sisters.
ABOUT THE SOSKA SISTERS | Canadian identical twin sister writing and directing duo, Jen and Sylvia Soska, known as the "Twisted Twins", first broke onto the scene with their DIY love letter to Grindhouse filmmaking, DEAD HOOKER IN A TRUNK. The film quickly grew into an award winning, critically acclaimed, cult classic sensation, even getting the attention of director Eli Roth (HOSTEL). The Twins followed up their break through indie gem with the accomplished and genre defining AMERICAN MARY that placed horror icon KATHARINE ISABELLE in the title role of Mary Mason, a medical student who gets drawn into the world of body modification and underground surgeries.
This year, the Soska Sisters are bringing new life to SEE NO EVIL 2 where they resurrect the WWE Studios franchise with WWE Superstar Glenn "Kane" Jacobs who is reprising his role as Jacob Goodnight. The film will also mark the first time that Scream Queens Danielle Harris and Katharine Isabelle appear together on screen. The Twins will be part of the all star director line up on ABCs of Death 2 in a segment that will both shock audiences and be destined for cult status. They will also join the most celebrated female voices in horror of all time in the first ever all female horror director anthology, XX, alongside industry legends Mary Harron, Jennifer Chambers Lynch, Jovanka Vuckovic, and Karyn Kusama which will be a defining moment in horror history.
Celebrate Nocturnals 20th Anniversary with Creator Dan Brereton at LongBeach Comic Con
Celebrate Nocturnals 20th Anniversary with Creator Dan Brereton at
the Long Beach Comic Con
Hero Initiative and Eisner-Nominated creator Brereton mark historic anniversary, September 27-28, 2014
Long Beach, CA (June 30, 2014) – Long Beach Comic Con and the Hero Initiative will host Eisner-nominated creator Dan Brereton to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Nocturnals, September 27 and 28 at the Long Beach Convention Center.
Debuted in 1994, Nocturnals offered a brand new take on the growing noir comics genre, with Evening, AKA Halloween Girl, a young girl growing up in a spooky-noir world, populated by a colorful group of night creatures steeped in crime and the supernatural, spawning a hybrid genre.
“Back in '94, I was sure (male) comics readers were going to hate Evening. An 8-year-old girl hero was the antithesis of trendy in comics at the time—namely buxom gals carrying huge guns, and big guys with even bigger guns. The readers happily proved me wrong,” said Brereton.
Brereton will host a panel celebrating the 20th anniversary of Nocturnals at Long Beach Comic Con. Brereton chose to celebrate the Nocturnals’ anniversary at Long Beach Comic Con because of the kinship he feels with the show. There will be a limited number of Dan Brereton’s Nocturnals Hero Initiative tickets available on the Long Beach Comic Con website. Tickets offer a chance for fans to pick the Nocturnals sketch they would like Dan to draw.
“The Long Beach show is a fun, unique and terrific show, the perfect place to celebrate a unique series and characters I've enjoyed doing for so long.”
“We are very excited to partner with Dan and the Hero Initiative to celebrate this ground-breaking series,” said Phil Lawrence, co-founder and sales director of Long Beach Comic Con.
The tales featured in the Nocturnals books are unique for having a dark edge tempered with a colorful cast fans can warm to. “It was always meant to be gritty but fun. All ages. I wanted to make a contemporary comic book harkening back to the pulp era of Dashiell Hammett and HP Lovecraft, with a Bradbury Halloween flavor. This was an untested concept at the time, which seems strange to say now. Nocturnals never gets old for me. I want to tell their story for the next two decades."
This year, NOCTURNALS: LEGENDS will be released in the Fall, a hardcover volume written in the character's voices, packed with artwork compiled from 20 years worth of pin- ups, covers, character portraits and more- much of it has never seen in print before now. LEGENDS will kick off a new series of Nocturnals adventures from Brereton. “I'm going back to their world in my mind and in my studio all the time—I can visit them any time I like. But the readers and fans of Nocturnals are asking for more stories, and I really want to deliver."
Enjoy an exciting weekend full of exceptional guests and exhibitors, and engaging panels, at Long Beach Comic Con, Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 am - 6:00 pmand Sunday, September 28 from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm at the Long Beach Convention Center. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Credited for helping to modernize the Western genre, Hell on Wheels follows former Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount), whose quest for vengeance has led him to the Union Pacific's westward construction of the first transcontinental railroad. Reigning as one of AMC's highest rated shows, this award-winning series is episodic TV at its finest. Before Season 4 premieres on August 2nd, home viewers can catch up on all the frontier action and drama with HELL ON WHEELS: THE COMPLETE THIRD SEASON, arriving on Blu-ray and DVD this July, only from Entertainment One.
Hell on Wheels tells the epic story of post-Civil War America, focusing on a soldier who sets out to exact revenge on the Union soldiers who killed his wife. Cullen's journey takes him west to Hell on Wheels, a dangerous, raucous, lawless melting pot town that travels with and services the construction of the railroad. In Season 3, following the Indian attack that destroyed the railroad settlement, Cullen spends a long winter reshaping his lust for revenge into a burning ambition: to take control of the Union Pacific and drive it across the country.
The lavishly-produced series documents the railroad's engineering and construction, as well as institutionalized corruption, the immigrant experience and the plight of emancipated African-Americans during Reconstruction. Chronicling this turning point in our nation's history, the fan-favorite series shows how uncivilized the business of civilization can be.
Hell on Wheels is produced by leading independent studio, Entertainment One Television and Nomadic Pictures.

Salem Recap S01E11: Cat and Mouse
Increase
pays John a visit. There was a time he wished him to be his own son. John tells
him that he knows that he’s not a witch, but Increase doesn’t know him anymore.
Increase and Mary walk together. She does not believe him to be a witch, but it
is not up to Increase’s thoughts on John’s guilt. It is for the Selectmen to
decide, and Mary’s own maid is the one who accused John. Increase wonders if it
is Mary’s feelings that cloud her judgment, but she plays coy, saying that she
gave up those feelings when she gave her heart to George. Increase is happy to
hear this. Mary tells him that it is not her feelings she is concerned about,
but Salem’s own. He is loved by the people. Mary suggests that he allow the
Selectmen to cast a vote and decide if they should even hold a trial that way
he is blameless. She gives her assurances which way they will vote. He is
pleased with her plan, planning to call them together immediately. She asks if
he has had any luck finding Mercy Lewis, that she too must face her day of
reckoning. So far he has not, but he is a patient man and a witch cannot hide
forever.
Night falls.
Mercy is in the woods. She lies cuddled up next to a corpse where she hunkers
down for sleep among the dead.
Anne asks
her father what the mask is, and why he felt the need to destroy it. He reminds
her that she just told him that it was a magical teleporting device. She angers
over his mocking. She’s given him time to explain, which he has done many
times. He told her that it was an artifact of his travels, but this answer is
not enough for her. She wants the truth, the truth of him. If he will not give
her the answers she seeks then she will turn to Increase with her questions.
Cotton comes
to visit his father. Increase asks him if he knows why he came back to Salem.
His son does not see the path that he has set him on, with the whore gone, he
hopes his son will rise from his ashes and into power. He wishes his to address
the people at John’s trial, because he is a powerful speaker, but Cotton does
not think that he is guilty. Cotton does not have many friends, John may be his
only one, and he is not guilty of the crime that he is being charged with.
Increase tells him the story of a man he once knew. He had the chance to let a
man he thought was innocent go, or have him perish, and catch a witch. He let
the man go free. Years later the man sacrificed virgins. No good deed goes
unpunished. Cotton still refuses to be a part of his friend’s trial.
Mary and
Hale walk together. He has spoken with the other Selectmen to see how they will
vote in John’s case. It’s going to be a close vote. Hale vows to vote how Mary
asks him to, which will tie the vote up, leaving hers to break it. They head
inside.
Increase
address the crowd, bring forth information and charges. The vote is made, and
it falls exactly as Hale said that it would, but when Mary goes to lay her
vote, Increase informs her that it isn’t needed. Her husband has recovered
enough to cast his own vote. Mary isn’t sure how that is so. George is still
little more than an invalid, but he can hear, and respond, not with words, but
spit. With his spit he ruins Mary’s plans, and John is forced to stand trial.
Mary pays
John a visit in his cell. She told him long ago that if he stayed that he would
die. He asks if she came to tell him I told you so, but she hasn’t. She
apologizes for putting him on this course. She isn’t the only one to blame for
their past. If he goes to trial he will be hung she fears. She wants to spirit
him away, to save him from all of this, but he won’t go. He finally understands
why Cory let them press him to death rather than to fight the charges. There is
no use fighting the madness. He will stay no matter the outcome, even if it is
his death. He may just get his wish.
Anne pays
Increase a visit. She asks him a question of witches. He asks if she is
curious, or if she has encountered one. Her father interrupts, and he offers to
answer her questions so as not to disturb the reverend. Increase leaves Anne to
her father, and he vows to give no further lies.
Mercy’s
girls are strung up, and Increase flings boiling water upon them. They remain
adamant that Mercy will not allow them to be burned that she will come for
them. Increase tells them that he will find Mercy with or without their help.
Mary meets
Mercy in the woods. She’s being extra cautious with Increase still hunting for
her. Mary thinks perhaps that she was mistaken when it comes to Increase, that
perhaps they are the ones that should deal with him. Mercy likes that idea.
Mercy wants clarification. She asks why now.
Mary is concerned with his growing influence, he threatens that which
she loves. Mercy knows that she is speaking of John, but Mary tells her that it
is not John she is trying to protect but Mercy herself. She wishes to protect
her as she protects herself. Tituba should not have __________
Hale tells
his daughter that he had to watch his own parents burn, and in watching that
death something changed in him. Steps were taken to spare him of that fate, and
he was taken to the New World. He was taken in by those loyal to the cause,
taught to harness the power, and hide it. He did that, and found one day that
he had a family of his own to love and protect. He confesses that he is a witch,
but also that it does not make him any less a loving father. Anne quickly
leaves after his confession.
Mary summons
Isaac, and he notices the deep scratches on her back. Mary has tea with Isaac,
and tells him her tale of woe. She tells him that Mercy attacked her, even
after all that she has done. Isaac starts to feel drugged, which is perfect.
Mary needs Isaac to tell Increase something, to lure him, but although she
feels that he doesn’t deserve this sort of treatment, she must send him. He
will only remember what she tells him to,a nd she makes him repeat the story
she tells him to tell. He went to the
woods to find Mercy Lewis, past the lake beside the weeping tree is where he
found her.
Increase
preaches to the people, that no one can be trusted. They thought Mercy was a
victim, to find that she was a witch. Now he believes no one can be trusted. In
the middle of his sermon, Cotton make s a disgraceful entry. Increase tells
them to pay him no mind. Cotton brings up a very valid point, that he is
telling the people to question their neighbors when they should question who he
is. What beter guise than that of a holy man. Increase has had enough of his
son, telling him that he is drunk, and throws him from the church.
Mrs. Hale
cannot believe that Anne would point her finger at her father, but Hale tells
his wife that he caught her just the night before getting ready to talk to
Increase about witches. Mrs. Hale thinks that its time for him to tell Anne the
whole story, but Hale thinks it may be too late for that now.
Isaac tells
Increase his tale. After hearing mary’s tale, he went after Mercy he tells
Increase, not out of loyalty to Mary, but to please Increase. Increase shows
Isaac the binding strap that he wears to atone for his own sins. Increase asks
if he is sinning now, but Isaac does not believe that he is. Increase believes
him, and asks if he can lead him to the last place that he saw Mercy. Isaac
can, and Increase prepares for a witch hunt.
Mercy digs
through the corpses in the forest, tasty morsels of rotting flesh looking for
the perfect bone to steal and turn into a shank.
Cotton
continues getting sauced up. Anne pays him a visit, and he’s drinking on a
hobbit’s feeding schedule. Anne has come to apologize to Cotton for judging him
harshly. They are both the children of complicated men. Cotton thinks his
father is the simplest of men, but Anne knows differently. She knows him to be
the most knowledgeable about witches, and she wishes to know more. She confesses
to having a long interest in them, and Cotton is willing to tell her all she
wishes to know.
Isaac takes
Increase into the woods to look for Mercy. Increase is skeptical that Isaac
would travel so deeply into the woods to look for Mercy. Increase pulls a blade
and holds it against his throat trying to find his true motives. Isaac
maintains that it is no ones bidding, but just the need to please Increase.
Mercy shows herself, and the pair give chase.
Cotton lays
down his knowledge, and Anne cannot believe her ears. The witches have been
hiding among them. She wants to know what witches want, and there are two
trains of thoughts. One that witches only want peace, and the other, his father’s thought, that witches want the
destruction of everything. She asks if his father is ever wrong, but Cotton
only knows that he isn’t wrong about him. His father thinks him a failure and
he is. He is a failure at piety and sobriety, so the evidence supports his
case. Anne tells him that he is wrong. Cotton goes in to kiss her, and she
steps away. He thinks its another failure to add to his list, but Anne thinks
that not becoming his father is no failure at all.
Mary begins
her cast as Increase and Isaac continue to look for Mercy. Increase thinks that
he has the upperhand. Mary’s cast begins to work, and Increase finds his
binding belt cutting deeply into his flesh. Mercy goes after her prey with it
wounded. Mercy throws her sharpened bone, but it misses. Increase’s knife does
not miss its mark though, and Mercy falls to the ground. Mary sends vines after
Increase to bind him. Mercy rises and she and Increase begin a knife fight.
Increase gets the best of her, and she takes off running into the woods.
Increase yells for Isaac to give chase, but he cannot. Mercy’s shank sits in
Isaac’s belly. Increase tells him to breathe shallowly as he removes it.
Mary is
summoned to Reverend Mather’s quarters. She hopes it is Cotton’s, but she is
told that she has been asked to Increase’s. She heads there, and she is
saddened to see that Isaac sits wounded on the bed. She tells his sleeping form
that she will protect him at all costs. Increase doesn’t give Mary much time
with Isaac. Mary wants to know why Isaac would go after Mercy. Increase finds
it odd that Isaac would go after Mercy alone when he hates him, but Mary knows
that Isaac does not hate him, he hates no one. Increase does find Isaac sort of
child like, but he knows that who ever planted the idea in his head hates him,
and wants him dead. Before she leaves, Mary makes a case for John’s innocence,
but Increase wants a witch burned, and if John is not the witch then who is.
Unless the guilty party comes forth, John will die, and Mary thinks that Salem
may surprise him.
Cotton pays
his father a visit. He will become a part of John’s trial. He will not join his
father in the prosecution, but rather in John’s defense. Increase is not
pleased in the fact that his son continues to chose the wrong things.
Hale goes to
his daughter to make a confession. She isn’t sure that she wants to hear
anything that he has to say, feigning tiredness, but he’s adamant. He tells her
that the mask that she used can only be used by one type of person, his kind.
She looks at him in disbelief, but he spells it out for her. The mask can only
be used by a witch, and she is one.
